Join Resmed as a Senior People Business Partner supporting our Software Engineering, Architecture, and Digital Platform Engineering organizations, representing a portfolio of more than 1,000 employees at the center of a significant technical and AI-native transformation. This is a highly strategic role for a business-minded People leader who is energized by solving complex organizational challenges, influencing senior leaders, and helping teams scale through change.

As a Senior People Business Partner, you will partner directly with engineering and business leaders to develop workforce strategies, organizational design solutions, talent plans, and transformation initiatives that enable business success. You'll join a collaborative People team where business partnership is valued, trusted, and expected to shape important decisions.

San Diego is the preferred location, with regular onsite presence encouraged to support collaboration and team engagement. Remote candidates may be considered.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Digital Platform leaders to develop people and talent strategies that align with business priorities and future growth plans.
• Lead workforce planning discussions that help leaders anticipate capability needs, organizational shifts, and talent requirements.
• Design and implement organizational effectiveness initiatives that improve team performance, engagement, and business outcomes.
• Support large-scale business transformation efforts by helping leaders navigate organizational change, new ways of working, and evolving workforce needs.
• Diagnose business challenges and develop thoughtful people solutions grounded in the specific needs of the organization rather than relying on standard frameworks.
• Advise leaders on talent management, succession planning, organization design, employee engagement, and team effectiveness.
• Leverage data, workforce insights, and business intelligence to inform recommendations and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the broader People organization to deliver integrated solutions and a consistent employee experience.
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects that support organizational priorities and transformational business initiatives.
• Support acquisition and divestiture activities by helping leaders navigate organizational impacts, workforce considerations, and change management requirements.
• Build trusted partnerships with stakeholders across technical and business functions to influence outcomes and accelerate execution.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience partnering with Engineering and/or Product organizations.
• Strong organizational design expertise.
• Experience supporting or leading organizational transformation initiatives.
• Ability to assess business challenges and develop solutions that address root causes rather than symptoms.
• Strong strategic thinking and consultative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence leaders and support decision-making across complex stakeholder environments.
• Experience leveraging workforce insights, data, and technology to improve organizational effectiveness and talent outcomes.
• Capability to solve unique and complex problems with broad organizational impact.
• Expertise in workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

Compensation & Additional Information

At Resmed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $148,000 to $222,000 USD
