Senior Network Engineer, IT

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of high-availability network design and implementation, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability. This role will be responsible for proactive network management, troubleshooting, and strategic system enhancements.</span></p><p></p><p><b>How you’ll make an impact:</b></p><ul><li><p>Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)</p></li><li><p>Configure and install switches, routers, firewalls and other network devices</p></li><li><p>Monitor network performance and integrity</p></li><li><p>Ticketing support for end-user troubleshooting</p></li><li><p>Cross-department colabroation</p></li><li><p>Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness</p></li><li><p>Mentor team members on technical issues</p></li><li><p>Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)</p></li><li><p>Communicate with users when needed</p></li><li><p>Maintain complete technical documentation</p></li><li><p>Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you&#39;ll need (Required):</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree, preferred in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or at least 8&#43; years&#39; experience in Network Engineering.</p></li><li><p>Experienced as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator</p></li><li><p>Aruba, Palo Alto, Cisco shop</p></li><li><p>Professional certification (e.g. ACSA, ACSP, CCNA, CCNP, AWS, PCNSE)</p></li><li><p>Solid background in network administration and architecture</p></li><li><p>In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with access control models and network security</p></li><li><p>Preferred knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl)</p></li><li><p>Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools)</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of network operating systems (Aruba, Cisco IOS)</p></li><li><p>Sharp troubleshooting skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently</p></li><li><p>Organizational and mentoring skills</p></li></ul>
