Senior Marketing Manager, Japan

Position Description

We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven marketing leader with comprehensive Consumer (B2C) and Provider (B2B) marketing experience to lead our marketing function in Japan. Reporting to the APAC Provider and Consumer Marketing leaders, this is a pivotal role in aligning Resmed’s global and regional strategies with local execution. This role will be responsible for delivering integrated, omnichannel marketing programs to drive consumer demand, disease state awareness, physician engagement, and business growth across our provider partner channels. Success in this role will require strong cross-functional collaboration, partnering with global and regional teams across Revenue, Product, Communications, Creative, and Digital functions, and proven excellence in leading through influence. Let’s talk about Responsibilities

• Partner with Revenue, Product, and Marketing teams to shape and implement impactful marketing campaigns and go-to-market programs driving consumer and provider awareness, action, and adoption
• Be the strategic marketing partner to our Japan commercial leadership team
• Lead and execute the Japan marketing strategy in accordance with commercial objectives, clearly linking budget and resource deployment to business impact
• Design and drive cohesive, integrated consumer and provider marketing programs for Japan, aligning global consumer and provider audience strategies to local market needs, and ensuring consistent brand messaging and maximum market penetration

• Drive discipline in capturing tracking, optimising, and reporting on campaign performance and marketing effectiveness measures, and communicating these with key stakeholders across the business

• Foster strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, KOLs, industry influencers, and partner organizations, to drive further awareness and access to care, and enhance the ResMed brand visibility and authority 
• Support Japan commercial team in building our presence at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences in collaboration with our global experiential marketing team
• Partner closely across the global and regional marketing function (creative, digital, comms, brand) to bring comprehensive approach to key initiatives such as product launches, brand campaigns, consumer or provider led initiatives
• Partner with sales leaders and sales operations to develop marketing collateral and tools driving successful customer interactions
• Actively collaborate and contribute as part of the APAC regional marketing leadership team and global marketing community across Provider and Consumer Marketing organisation

Let’s talk about qualifications and experience:

Required:

• Minimum 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful omnichannel marketing strategies with real-world impact
• Brings strong commercial acumen and insight led approach, with the ability to translate marketing activity into measurable business outcomes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English and Japanese
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Preferred:

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Healthcare or a related field
• Experience working in global multinational organisation
• Experience in using of platforms such as Salesforce, Asana or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage
