Bio-Techne, and all of its brands, provides tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide. </span></b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>Pay Range:</p>$81,900.00 - $134,700.00<p></p><p></p><div><p><span><span>This position is eligible to receive a target annual cash bonus based on individual and company performance,<span> </span></span><span>in accordance with</span><span><span> </span>company policy.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span><span>This job posting is for an existing vacancy.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span><span>Please note that we use<span> </span></span><span>Artificial</span><span><span> </span>Intelligence to<span> </span></span><span>assist</span><span><span> </span>with<span> </span></span><span>note-taking</span><span><span> </span>during interviews. </span></span><span> </span></p><p></p><p><b>Job Summary:</b></p><p>Work both independently and lead cross-functional teams to continually improve manufacturing processes and execute New Product Introductions (NPI) that achieve growth and scale-up targets and deliver continually improving operational performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery/Lead Time, and Cost (SQDC).</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Design, develop, and implement new/improved manufacturing processes utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles and tools, including required process documentation and training.</p></li><li><p>Optimize production workflows, work cell design, equipment, and tooling.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with engineering, R&amp;D, quality, supply chain, operation teams and external partners to facilitate innovative process improvement initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Lead the implementation of NPI projects.</p></li><li><p>Utilize structured problem-solving methods to solve complex problems and deliver Root Cause and corrective actions for the site.</p></li><li><p>Manage projects and project teams to achieve targets and provide periodic progress reports to management.</p></li><li><p>Lead and mentor junior engineers.</p></li><li><p>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</p></li></ul><p><b>Required Skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>Lean Manufacturing.</p></li><li><p>Project Management.</p></li><li><p>Manufacturing process development and implementation.</p></li><li><p>Mechanical tooling/equipment/fixture design.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in CAD software.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance (ISO 9001), and experience in process validation methods.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills including experiment design/process simulation, and statistical data analysis tools.</p></li></ul><p><b>Preferred Skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>Automation and/or design for automation (DFA)</p></li><li><p>Design for Manufacturability and/or Assembly (DFM/DFA)</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Machine design</p></li><li><p>Ergonomics and human factors engineering experience</p></li><li><p>Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP)/manufacturing execution software (MES)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity Maintenance and Facilities experience a plus</p></li><li><p>Employee Health and Safety (EH&amp;S) experience a plus</p></li></ul><p><b>Personal Characteristics:</b></p><ul><li><p>Highly collaborative team player, approachable and able build trust across the organization.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills from shop floor to the executive level.</p></li><li><p>Leads by example and demonstrates behaviours consistent with Bio-Techne EPIC values (Empowerment, Passion, Innovation and Collaboration)</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates a bias for action and relentlessly dives the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving.</p></li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical engineering or a related field with 8-10 years or work experience or Master’s degree in with 6-8 years of experience.</p></li><li><p>Manufacturing Engineering and process implementation in a Low Volume, High Mix, semi-automated operational environment.</p></li></ul></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Why Join Bio-Techne:</b></p><ul><li><p style="text-align:left">We offer competitive insurance benefits including: medical;
