Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day external and internal web operations, administration of content management frameworks, and collaboration to successfully plan, prioritize, and execute web initiatives.
Supports evolution of corporate external web intranet channels including business analysis, testing, functionality and features, third-party integrations, user experience (UX), Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) / AI search.
Collaborates with Data Digital & IT and other technical partners on platform availability, maintenance, security and privacy topics.
Supports web and intranet analytics configuration and management.
Works with the Director, Digital Platforms and Senior Webmaster on daily operations, feature development and backlog management.
Ensures web and intranet channels reflect the Novartis brand in terms of visual design and architectures, in partnership with the Novartis Brand team, UX leads and external partners.
Partners with in-country communication teams to ensure that country and local language web and intranet channels are developed and operated to a common standard.
Full Time University degree (Bachelors) (BE/ B.Tech preferred)
5-7 years of experience in Digital Communications or related areas. Experience operating a large web ecosystem including feature roadmaps, provisioning of new sites and migrations
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including DD&IT, business partners and external suppliers
Understanding of UX/UI, digital accessibility, data privacy, SEO/GEO/SEM and web analytics including Google Analytics (GA4)
Knowledge of software architectures, Drupal and other content management frameworks, HTML/CSS/Javascript, content delivery networks (CDN) and employee experience SaaS platforms
Desirable Requirements:
Strong project and product management skills including use of Jira software.
Creative and innovative problem solver who works well under tight timelines.
Passionate about the power of digital media to positively influence audiences and boost Novartis reputation.
Collaborate and contribute to the development of the team.
