<p style="text-align:inherit">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><h2><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b></h2><p></p><p>The Sr. Manager OEC monitoring will provide advice and counsel on matters of compliance and ethical  business practices.</p><p></p><p><b>Primary Job Function</b></p><ul><li>Abbott is currently seeking an experienced professional to drive deployment of complex elements of Abbott’s compliance program for MedTech Devices and Diagnostic division for India.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key job requirements include:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Work quickly to understand Abbott business structures, practices, Compliance policies and procedures to provide policy and documentation advice.</li><li>Collaborate and consult with cross functional teams to ensure the successful integration and implementation of compliance and ethics policies and procedures</li><li>Conduct compliance risk assessment to identify potential risk areas and drive implementation of appropriate risk management programs</li><li>Work closely with compliance counterparts to establish consistent compliance practices across affiliates.</li><li>Development and implementation of compliance monitoring plan, identifying compliance risk areas and action plans to address risk.</li><li>Conducting training for new joiners as well as customized training for groups based on Compliance requirements.</li><li>Contribute to Quarterly Compliance meetings with the senior leadership with dash boards for appropriate report outs.</li><li>Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations (e.g., local healthcare laws, patient privacy regulations, anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws, industry codes).</li><li>Conduct periodic reviews and updates related to complex OEC policy and divisional/affiliate procedures ensuring clarity, applicability and compliance to OEC policy and external requirements</li><li>Managing Corporate Audit and external audit requirements.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Data Privacy</b></p><ul><li>Work closely with cross functional teams like Global Privacy office, legal, IT review of compliance with and implementation of required controls for compliance with data privacy and DPDP related requirements.</li><li>Central point of contact to maintain records of all data processing activities of the company</li><li>Understanding of dealing with Data subject requests</li><li>Ability to devise training plans and conduct Data Privacy training and craft communications around the data privacy related elements.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><h1>JOB SPECIFICATIONS:</h1><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Skill, Education, Experience</b></p><p><u>Required Education / Experience</u></p><ul><li>Life sciences Graduate or above/Lawyer/CA with previous experience in a Compliance Role of a multinational Healthcare Company (med devices preferred).</li><li>Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of related professional experience including some pharmaceutical or health care compliance program experience as either a member of a multinational compliance team, consultant, or outside counsel.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:</b></p><p><b>Managerial:</b></p><ul><li>Team Management experience is not mandatory.
