This position coordinates a broad spectrum of supply chain management, including demand planning, sourcing, purchasing, materials planning, order management, and distribution. You will ensure the seamless flow of goods and materials to support the Microbiology division's substantial revenue streams.</span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>A day in the Life:</span></b></p><ul><li><span>North America Supply Chain Leadership: Directs and manages all supply chain functions within North America, ensuring outstanding performance and efficiency.</span></li><li><span>Demand Planning: Develops and implements accurate demand forecasts to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demand.</span></li><li><span>Sourcing & Purchasing: Leads strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiates contracts with suppliers, and manages supplier relationships to ensure efficient procurement of materials and services.</span></li><li><span>Materials Planning: Coordinates inventory control, production planning, and material flow to ensure timely availability of materials for production and fulfilment.</span></li><li><span>Distribution: Coordinates warehouse operations, logistics, and transportation to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.</span></li><li><span>Financial Performance: Manages the supply chain budget, monitors critical metrics, and finds opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.</span></li><li><span>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Finance, and other key collaborators to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.</span></li><li><span>Team Leadership & Development: Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing supply chain team.</span></li><li><span>Compliance: Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.</span></li><li><span>Drives Microbiology Division Growth: Ensures a reliable supply chain, supporting $300M in North American revenue and $700M globally.</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Keys to Success:</span></b></p><p></p><p><b><span>Education</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Experience</span></b></p><ul><li><span>10+ years of dynamic experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.</span></li><li><span>Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end supply chain operations in a complex, global organization.</span></li><li><span>Deep understanding of demand planning, sourcing, purchasing, materials planning, order management, and distribution processes.</span></li><li><span>Extensive experience with S&OP and demonstrated ability to drive process improvement.</span></li><li><span>Experience with Continuous Availability Systems (CAS) or similar inventory management systems.</span></li><li><span>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.</span></li><li><span>Experience in the life sciences or related industry is preferred.</span></li><li><span>APICS certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Physical Demands:</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Standard office environment.</span></li><li><span>May require occasional travel.</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>BENEFITS:</span></b></p><p><span>We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
