The Senior Manager, Global/US Medical Affairs Oncology, Pumitamig GI/GU Cancers, provides scientific and operational support for Pumitamig across GI/GU cancers within a highly integrated Alliance partnership. Serving as a therapeutic area contributor, this individual helps translate medical insights on evolving GI/GU landscapes into actionable deliverables and participates in cross-functional and cross-company scientific and tactical discussions.

The role supports execution of the Global/US Pumitamig Medical Plan and contributes to Alliance Medical and cross-functional forums, including the development of Integrated Evidence Plans (IEPs), scientific narratives, publication plans, congress strategies, field medical training materials, and external engagement activities. The Senior Manager will work closely with Alliance partners and Medical Evidence Generation teams to support execution of sponsored Medical Affairs GI/GU trials and to help evaluate GI/GU investigator-initiated or collaborative trial proposals.

The role supports the content development and logistical execution of Global/US Alliance GI/GU Cancer Medical Affairs Advisory Boards. Operating within an Alliance partnership and cross-functional matrix, the Senior Manager helps maintain alignment across organizations and groups and is comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity.

This headquarters-based position reports to the Senior Director, Global/US Medical Affairs Oncology, Pumitamig GI/GU Cancers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides scientific and operational support for Pumitamig across GI/GU cancers within a highly integrated Alliance partnership.
• Contributes subject matter expertise on current trends in pathophysiology, diagnosis, existing and emerging treatment landscape, as well as unmet medical needs in GI/GU oncology to help inform medical and business decisions across the alliance and cross-functionally.
• Supports the Joint Pumitamig Medical Affairs Team (JMAT) in the development, communication, and execution of the Joint Alliance Global/US Pumitamig Medical Plan, contributing to operational excellence and the sharing of best practices.
• In collaboration with the Global Medical Evidence Generation Team and within the Alliance partnership, supports development and execution of the integrated evidence generation plan (IEP), including Medical Affairs Pumitamig GI/GU trials, and assists in evaluation of Pumitamig GI/GU investigator-initiated or collaborative trials.
• In collaboration with the Global Medical Communications Team and within the Alliance partnership, supports delivery of the publication plan, scientific symposia, global independent medical education, scientific narrative/platform, and development of other medical content, as needed.
• Provides subject matter support to execute Pumitamig GI/GU oncology congress strategy and helps coordinate joint thought leader engagement plans.
• Supports content development and execution of Joint Global/US Alliance Pumitamig GI/GU Cancers Medical Affairs Advisory Boards.
• Serves as a Medical Affairs contributor for Pumitamig GI/GU cancer Clinical Development Teams (CDTs), providing external insight to support development of study protocols.
• Helps translate Pumitamig GI/GU cancers strategic direction into key knowledge for delivery to local medical market colleagues.
• Provides medical support to the Global/US medical affairs organization, including helping develop and deliver Pumitamig GI/GU training curriculum and content for market field medical associates.
• Develops and maintains relationships with US/Global GI/GU thought leaders and key professional organizations, in collaboration with other global medical affairs functions and clinical colleagues, through scientific dialogue pertinent to the GI/GU oncology landscape.
• Communicates and collaborates with Global Commercialization, Global Drug Development, and Access organizations to help integrate GI/GU medical perspective and external insights into commercialization, development plans, and cross-functional alignment.
• Collaborates with broader Global/US Medical Oncology GI/GU peers to support alignment across overall oncology GI/GU disease area strategy and portfolio.
• Supports development of Pumitamig compassionate and managed access programs to help ensure inclusive and equitable access globally, where permitted.
• Supports seamless collaboration operations with the alliance partner in line with agreement processes and rules.
• Helps ensure allocated budget and resources are appropriately spent to plan, consistent with business needs and in compliance with policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare-related field is required (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD).
• A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry within Global Medical Affairs/Medical Strategy or Clinical Research is required.

• Oncology experience is required, with GI/GU oncology preferred.

• Experience working within an Alliance partnership and cross-functional teams (e.g., clinical, commercial, access, regulatory), with strong ability to collaborate, influence, and support alignment.

• Strong strategic thinking, critical thinking, and decision-making capabilities, with demonstrated ability to support execution of short- and long-range medical plans.

• Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, navigate complexity, solve problems proactively, and support assessment and management of organizational and business risks.

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and skilled in relationship management, with strong global and cultural fluency and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Headquarters-based position with approximately 20% domestic and international travel required.

Princeton - NJ - US: $131,330 - $159,135

The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.

Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.

Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs.
