This role is a senior, field engaged‑ commercial marketing leader responsible for owning and driving growth strategy, execution, and outcomes for Merit Medical’s Renal Therapies portfolio. As a core member of the Platform Marketing team, this position operates with significant autonomy and visibility, partnering closely with Marketing Leadership, Sales Leadership, cross functional‑ stakeholders, and executive leadership to translate strategy into measurable commercial results.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
Commercial Strategy & Growth Ownership
Own the development and execution of comprehensive growth strategies in partnership with divisional platform leadership and regional sales leadership, with accountability for revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability.
Identify priority growth markets, segments, and customer opportunities using market insight, competitive intelligence, and field input; translate insights into clear commercial action plans.
Lead portfolio level thinking, balancing ‑near-term execution with ‑long-term‑ strategic positioning and lifecycle planning.
Sales Partnership & Field Engagement
Serve as a senior commercial partner to Vice President of Marketing, Vice Presidents of Sales, Regional Leaders, and Sales Representatives—providing direction, judgment, and actionable strategy, along with task-level‑ support.
Maintain a strong field presence through regular customer interactions, ride-longs‑, and strategic account engagement to ensure strategies are grounded in clinical and commercial reality.
Drive sales force effectiveness through targeted messaging, value-based positioning, and differentiated go-to-‑market‑ approaches.
Launch & Market Development Leadership
Lead end-to-end‑ product and indication launches, including positioning, training strategy, messaging, field readiness, and post‑launch optimization.
Own channel optimization strategies across direct and distributor models within the Americas, to maximize coverage, performance, and return on investment.
Identify and develop strategies for new and emerging markets while strengthening performance in existing geographies.
KOL, Clinical & External Engagement
Build and sustain deep relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical stakeholders across academic and community settings, serving as a credible commercial and scientific partner.
Represent Merit externally at key congresses, workshops, and continuing education programs, reinforcing leadership, credibility, and strategic intent.
Facilitate appropriate research and clinical collaboration opportunities in alignment with Medical Affairs, Clinical, and Regulatory teams.
Cross-Functional‑ Leadership
Lead cross-functional‑ execution across Commercial Marketing, Platform Marketing, Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Quality—aligning priorities and driving decisions forward.
Operate comfortably within ambiguity, making informed trade‑offs and recommendations when data is incomplete or timelines are compressed.
Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate policies.
Communication & Influence
Deliver clear, executive-ready communications to senior leadership, including growth updates, strategic recommendations, and risk assessments‑.
Present growth strategies, market insights, and launch plans to audiences ranging from field teams to executive leadership.
Own planning, allocation, and ongoing management of the advertising and promotions budget, ensuring spend is strategically aligned to growth priorities, launch objectives, and measurable commercial impact.
Perform other related duties as required to support business objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in commercial marketing, sales, or related roles within medical devices or healthcare
• Demonstrated success operating at a senior, autonomous level with direct accountability for growth outcomes
• Proven ability to partner credibly with senior sales leadership and external clinical stakeholders
• Strong analytical, strategic, and judgment-based decision-maki‑ng‑ capabilities
• Executive level communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and influencing cross functi‑onal‑ teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in Renal, Dialysis, Peripheral Vascular, Interventional, or adjacent procedural medical device markets
• Prior responsibility for national or international product launches
• Experience working across direct and distributor sales models
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) a plus
