Your mission
About the Role
Do you want to shape the future of Avène in Latin America?
We are looking for a bold and talented marketer, ready to challenge the dermocosmetics status quo and drive the next wave of innovation in Latin America. Within the Global Product Development team, you will lead the Latin American innovation strategy and the development of regional-specific products, introducing disruptive concepts to accelerate Avène’s growth and leadership in the region. You will act as the key regional reference for product strategy, working at the intersection of consumer insights, innovation, brand strategy, and business performance, with a clear mandate: turn market needs into high-impact, medical innovations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Marketing Strategy
- Define and drive the product development and marketing strategy for AVENE in line with global priorities and regional specificities.
- Contribute to global strategies and adapt them to LATAM market realities.
- Ensure coherent positioning, storytelling, and value proposition across all markets.
2. Market & Consumer Insights
- Continuously analyze:
- Consumer and patient needs
- Dermatology and KOL insights
- Market trends and competitive landscape
- Regulatory and distribution specificities
- Translate insights into concrete product concepts and innovation opportunities.
3. Product Development & Innovation
- Lead regional product projects from concept to launch:
- Brief R&D and global teams
- Validate formulas, claims, and benefits
- Define pack, formats, and range architecture
- Propose regional innovations adapted to Brazil and LATAM skin needs, habits, and channels.
4. Portfolio & Performance Management
- Own the performance of the product portfolio:
- Sales targets and growth
- Pricing and profitability
- Cost of goods and margins
- Obsolescence and range optimization
- Identify gaps, hero products, and underperforming SKUs.
5. Go-to-Market & Omnichannel Execution
- Support the local team in defining and deploying:
- Launch strategies
- Communication and media plans
- Omnichannel content (medical, digital, retail, e-commerce)
- Ensure strong execution by local markets and alignment with brand strategy.
6. Budget & Business Management
- Build and monitor:
- Business cases
- KPIs and performance dashboards
- Act as a business owner, not just a marketer.
Who you are ?
Experience
- 6–10+ years in product marketing, product management, or brand management
- Strong experience in:
- Beauty, dermocosmetics, pharma, or FMCG
- Regional or international roles (Experience in Latin America a strong plus)
Skills
- Strategic thinking with strong business acumen
- Proven ability to:
- Lead cross-functional projects
- Work with global teams (R&D, regulatory, supply, medical)
- Turn insights into real products
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
Languages
- Fluent English
- Portuguese and/or Spanish highly desirable
