Roche PHCS brings unmatched value as a collaborative partner to pharmaceutical organizations developing treatments across critical areas of highest unmet medical need.</span></p><p></p><p><b>The Opportunity:</b></p><p><span>As a Senior International Product Manager (IPM) within the PHCS Lifecycle Team, focusing on computational pathology algorithms, you are the strategic architect of our computational diagnostic future. You sit at the critical intersection of Tissue Diagnostics, Artificial Intelligence, and Clinical Workflow, transforming cutting-edge algorithms into scalable global solutions.</span></p><p><span>Your primary responsibility is to lead the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for a portfolio of AI-powered computational pathology algorithms used as Companion Diagnostics (CDx), ensuring our burgeoning pipeline of CDx algorithms is commercially viable, technically integrated, and ready for adoption across a diverse global landscape. You will also act as the primary Commercial Digital Lead for the PHCS portfolio, translating complex pipeline requirements into a cohesive technical roadmap for our Algorithm and Image Management System (IMS) development teams.</span></p><p></p><p><b>Key Roles & Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p><b>PHCS Digital Pathology Lead:</b> <span>Serve as the primary commercial point of contact and subject matter expert (SME) for Digital Pathology (DP) within the PHCS team. Provide high-level technical and commercial assessment for the CDx pipeline to ensure algorithms are designed for real-world clinical adoption.</span></p></li><li><p><b>Pipeline Strategy & Roadmap Translation: </b><span>Translate the long-term CDx algorithm pipeline into foundational requirements for the IMS and Algorithm Development teams. Own the capability roadmap, ensuring the platform is ready for future technologies like Foundation Models, high-scale data storage, and multimodal integration.</span></p></li><li><p><b>Market & Competitive Intelligence:</b> <span>Maintain a deep understanding of the Digital Pathology market landscape, evaluate interoperability requirements and regulatory pathway for the PHCS solutions.</span></p></li><li><p>IPM Network Support: <span>Act as the DP strategic consultant for other IPMs in the team. When a CDx assay includes a digital component, you lead the technical-commercial assessment of global readiness and solution robustness.</span></p></li><li><p><b>External Pharmaceutical Partnering:</b><span><b> </b>Act as the dedicated computational pathology commercial lead for pharmaceutical partners within PHCS in early collaboration.</span></p></li><li><p><b>Country & Regional Collaboration:</b><span> Partner with Roche Diagnostics regional and country stakeholders to drive successful CDx solution pull-through. You will help markets overcome barriers to adoption, deliver pharmaceutical partner objectives and ultimately drive precision medicine innovation.</span></p></li><li><p><b>Cross-functional Collaboration: </b><span>Drive high-impact growth projects that define how Roche Diagnostics delivers value beyond the individual test, collaborating closely with lifecycle teams and stakeholders across the organization. </span></p></li><li><p><b>Commercial Strategy Leader:</b><span><b> </b>Drive the commercial strategy for IHC-based companion diagnostics, ensuring our value proposition resonates with pathologists, laboratory managers, and pharma stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p><b>End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management:</b> <span>Support early development and lead commercial product delivery from concept to commercialization. Responsible for on-market product strategy, incorporating global regulatory updates, label expansion and end-of-life product management.</span></p></li><li><p><b>PHCS Strategy Leadership:</b><span><b> </b>Lead design and execution of our overarching strategy in collaboration with PHCS leadership and senior stakeholders. Analyze global market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to define long-term strategies.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Who You Are:</b></p><p><span>Candidates should exhibit a sophisticated understanding of the Digital Pathology ecosystem and a proven track record of managing complex, platform-level technical strategies in a commercial context. You are a "systems thinker" who can see beyond a single solution to the infrastructure required to power an entire portfolio.</span></p><ul><li><p><b>Experience:</b><span> University degree in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Data Science, or Marketing. 7+ years of experience in Clinical AI/Digital Health. Experience in CDx is also highly preferred. Understand the different needs for clinical research & biopharma needs for digital pathology algorithms</span></p></li><li><p><b>Commercial & Strategic Acumen:</b><span> A track record of consistently driving commercial delivery, in addition to designing senior-level strategic initiatives across global organizations. </span></p></li><li><p><b>Cross-Functional Leadership: </b><span>Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively within a complex global matrix environment.</span></p></li><li><p><b>Customer and Partner Management:</b><span> Proven ability to manage high-stakes partnerships & customer relationships. </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Location:</b> <span>This position is based in Tucson, AZ. Regular work in the office is required and travel up to 40% of the time (national and international) may be required. </span></p><p></p><p>Relocation benefits are available for this job posting. </p><p></p><p>The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson, AZ is $135,100 - $250,900. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
