Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsOfficeJob Description<h1>How You Will Make an Impact</h1>The Biologicals and Chemicals Division (BCD) is a ~$1.6B business within the Bioproduction Group, supporting BioPharma partners in the manufacturing of life-changing and life-saving biologics through our Gibco™ Media offerings.We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will provide finance and collaborative leadership to the ~$650M Protein Production vertical within the Cell Culture & Cell Therapy (CC&CT) business unit. This role provides direct decision support to the Director of Product Management and partners closely with cross-functional leaders to drive growth, profitability, and strategic execution.Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager for the Cell Culture sub-business unit, this role will shape financial strategy, influence investment decisions, and deliver executive-ready insights for a high-growth, innovation-driven portfolio.<h1>What You Will Do</h1><ul><li>Serve as the primary finance business partner to Product Management for the Protein Production vertical, driving revenue forecasting, growth planning, and strategic decision-making.</li><li>Own financial planning and performance management for the vertical, including development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Strategic Operating Plan (STRAP), and monthly and quarterly business reviews.</li><li>Lead analysis of revenue, standard margin, and key P&L drivers; translate complex financial results into clear insights, risks, and actions for senior leadership.</li><li>Evaluate backlog, pipeline, and molecule-driven opportunities to assess forecast confidence, upside, and downside risk.</li><li>Drive data-driven insights by navigating complex datasets to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities to improve execution and operational efficiency.</li><li>Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Commercial, Operations, and Finance leadership to align financial outcomes with business priorities.</li><li>Identify, quantify, and actively manage risks and opportunities, ensuring visibility and accountability against strategic plans.</li><li>Develop high-quality, executive-level presentations and narratives to support leadership decision-making.</li><li>Contribute to and, where appropriate, lead strategic improvement initiatives, new analytical capabilities, and process enhancements across the business.</li></ul>Primary office at Waltham, MA, USA; other possible location is Carlsbad, CA, USA<h1>How You Will Get Here</h1><h2>Education & Experience</h2><ul><li>An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</li><li>3-5 years of proven track record in Finance related field is required.</li></ul><h2>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities</h2><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to understand complex business dynamics and proactively communicate the financial implications of decisions to non-finance stakeholders.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and modeling; experience with Power BI and Hyperion is preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of P&L mechanics, financial controls, and end-to-end business processes.</li><li>Attention to detail with a consistent track record of delivering accurate, high-quality work under tight timelines.</li><li>Ability to synthesize complex financial information, influence diverse stakeholders, and confidently challenge the status quo while operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.</li><li>This position offers the opportunity to influence high-impact decisions, work cross-functionally in a global business, and grow your career in a culture driven by our 4i Values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.</li></ul><h2>Travel requirements</h2><ul><li> Less than 5% domestic/international travel may be required.</li></ul>Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
