This role provides direct decision support to the Director of Product Management and partners closely with cross-functional leaders to drive growth, profitability, and strategic execution.</p><p>Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager for the Cell Culture sub-business unit, this role will shape financial strategy, influence investment decisions, and deliver executive-ready insights for a high-growth, innovation-driven portfolio.</p><p></p><h1><b>What You Will Do</b></h1><ul><li><p>Serve as the primary finance business partner to Product Management for the Protein Production vertical, driving revenue forecasting, growth planning, and strategic decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Own financial planning and performance management for the vertical, including development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Strategic Operating Plan (STRAP), and monthly and quarterly business reviews.</p></li><li><p>Lead analysis of revenue, standard margin, and key P&amp;L drivers; translate complex financial results into clear insights, risks, and actions for senior leadership.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate backlog, pipeline, and molecule-driven opportunities to assess forecast confidence, upside, and downside risk.</p></li><li><p>Drive data-driven insights by navigating complex datasets to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities to improve execution and operational efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Commercial, Operations, and Finance leadership to align financial outcomes with business priorities.</p></li><li><p>Identify, quantify, and actively manage risks and opportunities, ensuring visibility and accountability against strategic plans.</p></li><li><p>Develop high-quality, executive-level presentations and narratives to support leadership decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to and, where appropriate, lead strategic improvement initiatives, new analytical capabilities, and process enhancements across the business.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Primary office at Waltham, MA, USA; other possible location is Carlsbad, CA, USA</p><p></p><h1><b>How You Will Get Here</b></h1><h2><b>Education &amp; Experience</b></h2><ul><li><p>An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</p></li><li><p>3-5 years of proven track record in Finance related field is required.</p></li></ul><h2><b>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities</b></h2><ul><li><p>Demonstrated ability to understand complex business dynamics and proactively communicate the financial implications of decisions to non-finance stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and modeling; experience with Power BI and Hyperion is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of P&amp;L mechanics, financial controls, and end-to-end business processes.</p></li><li><p>Attention to detail with a consistent track record of delivering accurate, high-quality work under tight timelines.</p></li><li><p>Ability to synthesize complex financial information, influence diverse stakeholders, and confidently challenge the status quo while operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.</p></li><li><p>This position offers the opportunity to influence high-impact decisions, work cross-functionally in a global business, and grow your career in a culture driven by our 4i Values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.</p></li></ul><h2><b>Travel requirements</b></h2><ul><li><p> Less than 5% domestic/international travel may be required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Compensation and Benefits</b></u></p>The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
