However, it reflects a role for which we regularly recruit or anticipate having openings in the near future for permanent or fixed term opportunities.</b></p><p></p><p>The <b>Record to Report (R2R) Department </b>is a global organization of over 650 experienced finance professionals working together to deliver financial services and solutions for Roche across the EMEA region. Our services cover financial management, period-end closing, capital and lease accounting, credit and receivables, manufacturing finance, and divisional reporting, ensuring compliance for 263 reporting entities in 96 countries with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and providing assurance of financial integrity.</p><p><br /><b>The Opportunity</b><br /><br />As a <b>Senior Financial Accountant </b>you will perform day-to-day and closing activities in cooperation with cross-functional departments, according to predefined deadlines with full ownership of their tasks and in compliance with the Process Documentations of the respective business sub-process. In this position in close collaboration with the Country Chief Accountant, you will focus on:</p><ul><li><p>Leased assets, fixed asset and CAPEX<b> accounting</b> activities </p></li><li><p>Taxes, GL journals and accruals/ provisions, <b>reconciling</b> BS accounts </p></li><li><p> <b>Clearing</b> customer accounts and bank suspense accounts, collecting direct debit, daily bank posting, posting and reconciling treasury transactions</p></li><li><p><b>Calculating</b> and <b>issuing</b> AR manual invoices </p></li><li><p><b>Defining</b> and <b>calculating</b> cost and revenue allocation in controlling</p></li><li><p><b>Conducting</b> product closing in the Material Management module of SAP</p></li><li><p><b>Performing </b>Month-end Closing and Reporting for Consolidation and for Divisions</p></li><li><p><b>Preparing</b> audit documentation and participating in internal and external audits</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who you are</b><br />We are looking for someone who is self motivated, really passionate about his or her job and understands that providing a high-quality service is crucial for the organization. As an ideal team member you are open-minded, dedicated to make a difference and open to constant development.
