Experience : 4 to 8 years
Followings will be the responsibilities of the position holder:
1. To ensure compliance of GMP/GEP/GDP.
2. To ensure safety compliance as per Abbott Safety Guide lines
3. Operate and maintain HT/LT electrical distribution systems.
4. Monitor transformers, DG sets, PCC/MCC panels, UPS systems, and power distribution networks.
5. Track daily power consumption and energy performance.
6. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
7. Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
8. Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimize downtime.
9. Support energy conservation and power quality improvement projects.
10. Manage raw water, soft water, purified water, and utility water systems.
11. Operate and monitor WTP, RO, Softener, and ETP systems.
12. Track daily water consumption and identify reduction opportunities.
13. Ensure water quality meets process and regulatory requirements.
14. Monitor pumps, pipelines, tanks, and distribution systems.
15. Implement water conservation and reuse initiatives.
16. Experience in automation engineering, as well as process control programming languages such as PLC (programmable logic controller).
17. Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
18. Ensure that equipment’s are in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities
19. Troubleshoot, analyze, repair, report on, and recommend/ perform service of SCADA, PLC, instrumentation, servo drive motor controls, and process analyzers.
20. SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) is a system used to collect data from equipment and sensors in a controlled or automated environment. A SCADA engineer develops, deploys and maintains SCADA systems to control processes.
21. Designing and developing new control systems, testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems;
22. Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for the electrical components.
23. Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company’s electrical equipment
24. Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process
25. Supervise electrical works when new installations are undertaken.
26. Learn new skills and attend training programs in other to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry
27. Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented
28. Purchase Instruments, fittings and components i.e HMI, PLC, IPC etc. or supervise the staff charged with the responsibility
