Under general direction, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Has system-wide responsibility on complex projects and components. Provides direction to team members and is a key contributor. May solve highly technical complex problems and be called on to consult for other projects. Provides coaching to junior-level employees. Role typically requires between 5 and 8 years of experience.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who doesn't just design AI solutions but builds it. You are a unique blend of a technical architect, and a versatile full-stack developer. In this role, you will lead the charge in developing sophisticated agentic solutions and multi agent architectures, taking projects from a conceptual whiteboard to a production-ready cloud environment. This is a hands-on position; you will be expected to code, orchestrate, and deploy while mentoring others and navigating complex business requirements.

Mandatory Skills

• Deep expertise in RAG processes, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning. Experience with orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Microsoft Agent Framework).

• Full-stack proficiency (Python/Node.js, modern frontend frameworks, and API design).

• Expertise in vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB) and handling diverse data formats for AI ingestion.

• Strong understanding of cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Desired Skills

• Proven experience in multi-agent systems and agentic workflows.

• Develop strategies for diverse data types (structured, unstructured, vector) to optimize AI performance and RAG accuracy.

• Work directly with stakeholders to capture requirements, lead technical discovery meetings, and translate "business problems" into "AI solutions."

• Understanding of multimodal models, including services that generate embeddings for diverse file types such as videos, CAD drawings, and more.

Required Qualifications • Professional-level Cloud Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer) and specialized AI/Agentic certifications are highly preferred. • You are comfortable leading meetings, managing expectations, and pushing back on technical feasibility when necessary. • While you can work independently, you prioritize the success of the team, offering guidance and code reviews to fellow engineers. • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused specifically on production-grade AI solutions.
