The next phase of growth requires installing the <b>systems, operating rhythms, and leadership capability</b> that allow the supply chain to perform reliably without reliance on heroics or constant escalation.</p><p>This leader will design and implement the enterprise supply chain operating model while simultaneously leading day-to-day operations across global distribution, planning, and sourcing teams.</p><p></p><p>The role requires a <b>builder–operator leader</b> — someone who understands the mechanics of supply chain operations and can translate that knowledge into scalable processes, systems, and organizational capability.</p><p>The successful candidate will combine operational credibility with the ability to design and install the systems that allow the supply chain to run effectively without constant intervention.</p><p></p><p>Success will be measured by building a supply chain that operates with <b>discipline, transparency, and predictable outcomes.</b></p><div></div><p><b>Role Boundaries & Operating Intent:</b></p><p>To ensure clarity in a matrixed environment:</p><p></p><p><b>Enterprise Supply Chain (this role)</b><br />Owns supply chain architecture, planning logic, enterprise standards, and performance governance.</p><p></p><p><b>Business Units</b><br />Retain accountability for commercial tradeoffs and inventory positioning decisions within enterprise frameworks.</p><p></p><p><b>Sites & Regions</b><br />Own day-to-day operational execution within defined enterprise standards.</p><p></p><p><b>Escalations</b><br />Come to this role only when decisions span regions, business units, or require enterprise-level alignment.</p><p>This role strengthens site leadership and builds systems that reduce reliance on escalation.</p><div></div><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><b>Build the Enterprise Supply Chain Operating System</b></p><p>Design and implement the operating model that governs how planning, distribution, sourcing, inventory strategy, and systems work together globally.</p><p>Key elements include:</p><ul><li><p>Global SIOP / planning cadence</p></li><li><p>Inventory segmentation and positioning principles</p></li><li><p>Distribution and logistics operating standards</p></li><li><p>Intercompany flow governance</p></li><li><p>Strategic sourcing governance and supplier performance management</p></li><li><p>Data visibility and analytics capability</p></li><li><p>ERP-enabled supply chain processes</p></li></ul><p></p><p>The objective is not simply defining processes but installing a system that leaders across the organization can run consistently.</p><div></div><p><b>Lead Multi-Site Supply Chain Operations</b></p><p>Provide operational leadership for global distribution, planning, and sourcing organizations, including direct accountability for Europe distribution and U.S. OEM supply chain operations.</p><p>Responsibilities include:</p><ul><li><p>Establishing consistent operating rhythms across sites</p></li><li><p>Driving service reliability and inventory discipline</p></li><li><p>Coaching operational leaders and building accountability</p></li><li><p>Improving execution across distribution and planning teams</p></li></ul><p></p><p>The leader must be comfortable engaging with operational teams across distribution centers and planning organizations while also shaping enterprise supply chain architecture.</p><div></div><p><b>Global Planning, Inventory Strategy & Network Design</b></p><p>Design and implement a global planning discipline that aligns demand, supply, and inventory strategy.</p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li><p>Building and governing the global SIOP process</p></li><li><p>Defining planning assumptions and decision frameworks</p></li><li><p>Developing enterprise inventory segmentation principles</p></li><li><p>Supporting long-range network design and capacity planning</p></li></ul><p></p><p>The focus is establishing planning discipline that drives <b>predictable outcomes and transparent tradeoffs across service, inventory, and capacity.</b></p><div></div><p><b>Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Governance</b></p><p>Bio-Techne is in the early stages of building a strategic sourcing capability. This role will establish and scale the sourcing function as a core component of the enterprise supply chain operating system.</p><p>Responsibilities include:</p><ul><li><p>Designing and building the company’s strategic sourcing organization and operating model</p></li><li><p>Establishing supplier segmentation, category strategies, and sourcing governance</p></li><li><p>Implementing supplier performance management and review rhythms</p></li><li><p>Strengthening supply continuity, supplier risk management, and cost discipline</p></li><li><p>Ensuring sourcing strategy aligns with planning, manufacturing, and inventory objectives</p></li></ul><div></div><p><b>Enterprise Systems, Data & Planning Logic</b></p><p>Establish the data and systems foundation required for scalable supply chain operations.</p><p>Responsibilities include:</p><ul><li><p>Developing the supply chain ERP and systems roadmap</p></li><li><p>Governing master data and planning logic</p></li><li><p>Creating decision-support analytics and operational dashboards</p></li><li><p>Aligning supply chain processes with enterprise systems</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Systems should enable <b>better decisions and operational discipline</b>, not simply reporting.</p><div></div><p><b>Build and Develop the Supply Chain Organization</b></p><p>Develop the leadership capability required to sustain the supply chain operating system.</p><p>Responsibilities include:</p><ul><li><p>Coaching and developing supply chain leaders across regions</p></li><li><p>Building capabilities in planning, distribution, sourcing, and analytics teams</p></li><li><p>Creating accountability and leadership ownership</p></li><li><p>Developing a strong bench and succession pipeline</p></li></ul><p></p><p>The role requires balancing collaboration, accountability, and decisive leadership.</p><div></div><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree required;
