This position of Cybersecurity risk manager and compliance analyst is for Beckman Coulter team located at Danaher India Development Center (IDC), Bangalore and an on-site role.

IDC is a research and development center with the vision of accelerating product roadmaps across various Danaher business segments. Started in 2014, the center now hosts 500+ associates, for multiple Danaher operating companies focusing on Diagnostics and Life Science. The operating companies includes Beckman Coulter, Radiometer, Leica Bio systems, HemoCue, Cepheid and more.

The IDC workforce comprises of various product engineering teams, working on development of software and hardware components of cutting-edge products for, Immunoassay, Chemistry, Hematology, Molecular diagnostics, Oncology, Neurosurgery and Water Quality. IDC has evolved as center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics, with significant contributions to the key informatics solutions. The teams consist of highly hardworking software & hardware engineers and development managers. The teams are supported by local Product managers, Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies specifically tailored for Research & Development (R&D) and product security.
• Ensure that these strategies align with the organization's overall risk management framework and business objectives.
• Collaborate with product teams to embed security measures from the initial design phase through to deployment.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and provide guidance to ensure the effective implementation of security requirements across various departments.
• Continuously assess and incorporate cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies to strengthen the security posture of R&D operations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Utilize scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to develop automated cybersecurity solutions.
• Focus on enhancing security testing, compliance checks, and risk management processes through automation.
• Configure cloud security settings and implement vulnerability management solutions to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Provide expert advice on security design principles and ensure seamless integration into existing systems.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and innovations in cybersecurity and evaluate their applicability to the organization.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Industry certifications such as CSSLP, CISSP, GIAC Secure Software Programmer, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
• Familiarity with interoperability and healthcare data standards such as ASTM, FHIR, HL7 from a security perspective.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to product cybersecurity (e.g., FDA Premarket Cybersecurity Guidance, IMDRF, EU MDR Annex I).
