Job Details:

The Senior Clinical Specialist provides advanced clinical sales support for Optowire and SavvyWire, leading solutions in the Sensor-Guided Technology market,and plays a key role in the successful adoption of future products introduced through acquisition or portfolio expansion. This role reports to the Regional Clinical Manager and partners closely with the Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Marketing, and other Clinical Teams to drive product adoption, ensure exceptional patient outcomes, and deliver training and education to healthcare professionals within the assigned territory, while operating with a high level of independence and accountability. The Senior Clinical Specialist serves as a highly trusted clinical resource for physicians, nurses, and allied health staff, applying deep product and clinical knowledge to consistently deliver high‑quality case coverage, training, and education. While case responsibilities mirror those of the Clinical Specialist, this role demonstrates greater ownership, judgment, and influence within key accounts and customer relationships. Through leadership in the field, cross‑functional collaboration, and informal mentorship of Clinical Specialists, the Senior Clinical Specialist helps elevate clinical execution across the territory. By providing consistent case coverage and clinical partnership, this role contributes to achieving projected sales goals, advancing company objectives, and improving patient outcomes.

Case coverage within the assigned territory · May host new team members within the assigned territory for observational learning or informal shadowing, as needed.

· Collaborates with the Account Manager to provide good case coverage and clinical outcomes

for patients.

· Serves as the primary clinical resource for clinical support in the areas of coverage,

troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.

· Informs the customer on the latest product, therapy and technology developments in the

industry by actively engaging in procedural and technical discussion.

· Demonstrates the ability to link clinical data to key messaging.

· Meets with existing and potential customers to identify their clinical needs, goals and

constraints related to patient care and provide creative and feasible solutions using company

products.

· Collaborates and communicates account and other requested information to sales team on a

daily basis.

· Shares insights on competitive products or on account issues, opportunities with appropriate

colleagues (AM or CS). Educates the customer on the merits and proper clinical usage of

company products.

· Oversees local education and training activities including coordination and set up of programs,

procedural troubleshooting, and coordination and facilitation of staff education.

· Identifies, establishes, and maintains productive working relationships with key decision

makers, customers and their staff, administrative staff, etc.

· Supports monitoring of product inventory levels.

· The Senior CS will lead challenging or more complex cases review, lead and develop the

content for Regional and/or Area clinical calls.

· Supports the RSD in the creation and dissemination of educational content for the internal

team.

· Case support and coverage of the most complex cases that require a higher level of clinical

expertise.

· Other duties as assigned.

Serves as an informal mentor to newer team members by providing guidance, sharing best practices, and supporting skill development within the assigned territory.

Education

BA/BS or equivalent medical training required. Field of Study Health science and appropriate registrations or certifications (RT, RCIS, Surgical Tech, RN, NP, or First Assistant strongly preferred).

Years of Experience

Requires 2+ years of direct healthcare experience (Cath lab, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, etc.), plus 2 years Medical device industry experience. Experience Details Strong clinical orientation, with experience in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, vascular, or cardiac surgery required.

Training/Certifications:

Health science and appropriate registrations or certifications (RT, RCIS, Surgical Tech, RN, NP, or First

Assistant strongly preferred).

Anticipates questions and objections and responds with confidence, evidence, and clarity. Leads customer presentations and advisory‑style discussions as appropriate. Demonstrates situational awareness by knowing when to lead conversations and when to support sales partners. Communicates effectively across functions. · Autonomy/Level of supervision: Generally receives minimal guidance on day‑to‑day activities, with direction provided primarily on new or complex assignments. Demonstrates the ability to operate independently while remaining aligned with company priorities and sales objectives. Effectively prioritizes workload and manages schedule to support territory needs. · Excellent interpersonal skills and strong clinical orientation with the ability to influence a variety of clinician, nurse, and lab tech personality types. · Ability to persuasively communicate and tailor the Sensor-Guided Technology Value Proposition. · Analytical with financial acumen (understanding of how our products performance and data impacts a health system's bottom line). · Ability to maintain a good working relationship while dealing with sensitive and confidential matters. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Attention to detail to maintain records and process reports. · A thorough knowledge of the medical device market, products, and territory's customer base. · Emotional intelligence to manage their schedule effectively and efficiently. · Previous industry experience preferably in the Cardiovascular space calling on Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, administrators, and clinical staff members. · Previous industry experience in the Structural Heart space with preference to TAVR calling on Interventional Cardiologists and Cardiothoracic Surgeons. · Previous experience providing clinical education and training to staff members is preferred. · Values Teamwork and collaboration internally and externally with customers. · Knowledge of MS office systems.

Pay Transparency:

The pay range for this role is:

$85,000.00-$160,000.00/Annual

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles.

 

Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.
