Senior Buyer with French, Global Procurement Center

As a Senior Buyer, you will play a critical role in enabling reliable product availability while balancing cost, risk, and supplier performance. This role offers broad visibility, strong supplier ownership, and meaningful cross‑functional influence in a regulated, fast‑moving environment.</p><h2><b>What You Will Do</b></h2><ul><li>Manage strategic and tactical purchasing activities for an assigned portfolio to maintain uninterrupted supply of finished goods and materials</li><li>Communicate weekly and daily demand requirements to suppliers and adjust volumes based on updated supply plans</li><li>Place purchase orders in compliance with agreed rules and ensure alignment with supplier agreements</li><li>Execute and communicate safety stock levels for raw materials and finished goods to support service and continuity targets</li><li>Act as primary operational contact for suppliers, resolving availability issues and escalating long‑term supply constraints when required</li><li>Track, analyze, and report supplier performance using standard metrics including on‑time and in‑full delivery, lead time compliance, price variance, and past‑due orders</li><li>Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier master data, including lead times, minimum order quantities, and replenishment parameters</li><li>Lead supplier-facing and internal continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk, optimize cost, and improve execution</li></ul><h2><b>What You Will Need</b></h2><p>Required:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, manufacturing, or supply chain operations</li><li>Proficiency in written and spoken English and French</li></ul><p>Preferred:</p><ul><li>Experience in supplier relationship management</li><li>Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems</li><li>Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or aerospace</li><li>Experience applying continuous improvement or cost reduction methodologies</li></ul><p></p><p>Salary information will be provided during the recruitment process.</p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Travel Percentage: 10%<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
