The position focuses on aligning procurement strategies with demand planning to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and ensure supply continuity across global operations.</span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span> </span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></span></span></span></span></p><ul><li><span><span><span>Create and maintain material requirements planning (MRP) based on demand forecasts</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Coordinate with demand planners and production teams on material availability</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Manage purchase order creation, expediting, and delivery schedules</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Develop and maintain accurate demand planning using statistical models, market intelligence, and cross-functional input</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Analyze historical sales data, seasonality patterns, and market dynamics to improve planning accuracy</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Analyze supplier performance metrics (on-time delivery, quality, cost)</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Support new product introduction (NPI) planning and lifecycle management</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Develop and maintain demand planning tools, dashboards, and reporting systems</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Mentor New demand planning staff and drive process improvements</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Monitor inventory levels and optimize safety stock parameters</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Analyze inventory turnover rates, obsolescence, and demand patterns</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Collaborate with Stakeholders, manufacturing, and sales teams on inventory planning</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Develop and maintain inventory KPIs and reporting dashboards</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and carrying costs</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Lead cross-functional process improvement projects</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Identify opportunities for operational efficiency gains &amp; Design and implement standardized processes and best practices</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Develop process documentation, SOPs, and training materials</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Monitor process performance metrics and implement corrective actions</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Coach teams on process improvement tools and methodologies</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Drive continuous improvement in procurement planning accuracy and inventory optimization</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Develop and implement KPIs to measure procurement planning effectiveness</span></span></span></li></ul><p><span><span><span><span><b>Preferred Skills:</b></span></span></span></span></p><ul><li><span><span><span>Leadership skills to develop team capabilities and drive performance</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Global mindset with understanding of international procurement challenges</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Change management skills to implement process improvements</span></span></span></li></ul><p><span><span><span> </span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span><b>Qualifications</b></span></span></span></span></p><ul><li><span><span><span>Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field; MBA preferred</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>10&#43; years of experience in procurement planning or materials management, preferably in life sciences or diagnostics</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes with focus on procurement and materials planning</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Experience with machine learning/AI tools</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Experience with MRP systems, ERP platforms (SAP, S/4 Hana, Oracle), and advanced planning tools</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Strong analytical skills in Power BI with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Experience with team handling, providing guidance and professional development</span></span></span></li></ul><p><span><span><span> </span></span></span></p>
