<h1><b><b><b>Job Description Summary</b></b></b></h1>Senior Process &amp; Yield Engineer – Manufacturing<br>Position Overview<br>The Senior Process &amp; Yield Engineer will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes to ensure quality, device performance, and line yield. <br>This role involves deep technical ownership of process modules, cross functional problem solving, yield excursion management, and continuous improvement of factory performance. <br>The ideal candidate possesses hands on process expertise, strong data driven decision making capabilities, and a proven ability to lead complex engineering initiatives in a high volume manufacturing environment.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><b>Job Description</b></h1><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p></p><p><b>Sustaining Process Engineering</b></p><ul><li>Monitor process health and equipment performance; respond to line abnormalities and excursions in real time.</li><li>Collaborate with Equipment Engineering to ensure tool matching, qualification, and tool health stability.</li><li>Maintain process documentation, change management, FMEA, and risk assessments.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Process Development &amp; Optimization</b></p><ul><li>Develop, characterize, and optimize  process steps to meet device performance, yield, and cost targets.</li><li>Own and coach DOE planning and execution to improve process stability, robustness, and manufacturability.</li><li>Define process recipes, operating windows (EWAs), and control plans aligned with technology requirements.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Yield Engineering &amp; Data Analysis</b></p><ul><li>Conduct root‑cause analysis for yield loss and parametric drift; drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).</li><li>Use statistical tools (JMP, Python, SPC systems) for yield trend analysis and early detection of process anomalies.</li><li>Lead continuous improvement cycles through Six Sigma and structured problem‑solving methodologies.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Cross-Functional Collaboration</b></p><ul><li>Work closely with device engineering, equipment teams, integration, and quality to resolve technical issues.</li><li>Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities including process readiness, qualification, and ramp to volume.</li><li>Participate in cross-site technical forums, best-practice sharing, and global engineering programs.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>B.Sc. in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.</li><li>5&#43; years of experience in manufacturing (process, integration, or yield engineering).</li><li>Strong statistical analysis abilities and familiarity with SPC, DOE, FDC, and yield management systems.</li><li>Experience with at least one major process module (e.g., Lithography, Etch, Diffusion, CMP, PVD/CVD, Implant, Wet Process, Metrology).</li><li>Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems systematically and drive closure.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Way to stand out of the crowd</b></p><ul><li>Experience with advanced nodes, MEMS, SiPh, power devices, or specialty processes.</li><li>Knowledge of automation systems (MES, APC) and advanced data‑science tools (Python, SQL, ML-based detection).</li><li>Project management experience (Agile, Waterfall ).</li><li>Certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt.</li><li>Leadership experience—mentoring junior engineers, leading projects, or multi-disciplinary task forces.</li><li><p><b>Personal Attributes</b></p></li><li>Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.</li><li>High sense of ownership and accountability.</li><li>Able to balance tactical firefighting with long‑term strategic improvements.</li><li>Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.</li></ul><p></p><p><span>GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator.
