<h1><b><b><b>Job Description Summary</b></b></b></h1>The Security and Crisis Management Coordinator (SCM Coordinator) provides operational and administrative support to GE Healthcare’s Global Security Operations (GSO) team which is responsible for the protection of GEHC personnel, assets, and facilities. Responsibilities of this position will be varied, ranging from administering and managing security tools to coordinating team purchasing activities. This position will be operationally focused, supporting business security processes.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><b>Job Description</b></h1><p><u><b>Roles and Responsibilities</b></u></p><p>The responsibilities of the SCM Coordinator include:</p><ul><li>Perform specialized operational and administrative duties required to support the security program.</li></ul><ul><li>Serve as the central manager/administrator of a variety of security systems tools. Activities include administering user access, coordinating user training, assisting with purchase of software/hardware, and tracking of user licenses.</li></ul><ul><li>Act as the GSO’s central point for purchasing to coordinate recurring payments and develop and submit purchase orders, as needed. Assist team members with purchasing and other security activities.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist, as needed, with physical security audits and assist in the report generation of site assessments.</li></ul><ul><li>Support Regional Security Directors (RSDs) and Site Security Leaders (SSLs). Provide physical security guidance and training as requested by RSDs and SSLs.</li></ul><ul><li>Provide oversight and assist in the creation and development of GEHC security policies, guidelines, best practices and procedures and common security arrangements.</li></ul><ul><li>Provide recommendations for improvements to physical security, administrative, and crisis management systems/tools.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of security personnel, to include RSDs and SSLs to ensure appropriate level of security specific training, based upon their role.</li></ul><ul><li>Keep abreast of relevant security industry standards and provide system and tools assessment for feasibility within the GSO.</li></ul><ul><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Global Security Operations</li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Required Qualifications</b></u></p><p></p><ul><li>This role requires basic experience in the Security &amp; Business Security. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor&#39;s degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).</li><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience</li><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in experience, preferably in public security management. Familiarity with security management systems, such as access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms. Ability to serve as a security tools administrator. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Power Point, and Teams Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Desired Characteristics</b></u></p><ul><li>Must be self-driven and possess strong problem-solving skills</li><li>Knowledge of software tools, databases, and security systems</li><li>Attention to detail.
