Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative candidate. The optimal candidate will have experience in leading mRNA drug delivery and (lipid) nanoparticle formulation projects in industry setup. The right candidate will be a strategic thinker that brings a leadership presence and enthusiasm, along with a deep scientific knowledge. Some of the work you will be doing: - Develop and lead mRNA delivery platform by designing and optimizing (lipid) nanoparticle formulations - Characterize and evaluate the physical characteristics and therapeutic indices of (lipid) nanoparticle formulations - Produce (lipid) nanoparticle formulations to support internal and partnered programs - Write study protocols, technical reports and SOPs that support the drug discovery efforts

Requirements

- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other relevant scientific discipline with a focus on (lipid) nanoparticle formulation and in vivo delivery of nucleic acid-based payloads. - Extensive experience with production and analytical characterization of mRNA-(lipid) nanoparticles - Excellent knowledge of the scientific literature in the field of mRNA delivery - A strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently.
