Your work will make a significant impact on health, safety, and scientific advancements!</p><p></p><h2>A Day in the Life:</h2><p></p><ul><li>Analyze cell culture media samples autonomously or with limited mentorship.</li><li>Perform analytical assays on MassSpec instrumentation focusing on small molecules and metabolomics.</li><li>Participate in analytical method development, optimization, and validation.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Keys to Success:</h2><p></p><ul><li>Proven ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical instrumentation.</li><li>Initiative to engage in process improvement projects.</li><li>Strong communication skills to regularly update managers and teams.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Education</h2><p></p><ul><li>Degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or related field.</li><li>B.S. degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years of industry experience</li><li>M.S. degree or equivalent experience preferred</li></ul><p></p><h2>Experience</h2><p></p><ul><li>Functional knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques.</li><li>Experience with chromatography techniques such as HPLC/UHPLC and LC-MS technology.</li><li>Experience with processing untargeted and targeted MassSpec data.</li><li><span>Preferred experience with Thermo Scientific TSQ and/or Orbitrap MassSpec series instrumentation.</span></li></ul><p></p><h2>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities</h2><p></p><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Physical Requirements / Work Environment</h2><p></p><p>Work is performed in a laboratory setting with routine exposure to hazardous materials.
