Scientist I, Protein Biochemistry

We're seeking a Scientist I, Protein Biochemistry with a passion for protein engineering and assay development. You’ll be a critical member of our founding scientific team, helping to build high-throughput, modular, and tunable protein characterization platforms. Your work will inform and drive the development of our AI models, ultimately enabling the design of new functional antibodies. Responsibilities include designing, executing, and optimizing biochemical assays with sequencing-based readouts, developing modular and tunable genetic circuits, constructing and characterizing large-scale libraries, leading display-based screening approaches, performing protein expression and characterization, preparing samples for NGS and nanopore sequencing, and managing outsourced experiments. You should stay updated on relevant literature to integrate new ideas into experimental design.
