Description

Propose new designs for modified nucleotides and conjugation chemistry to improve YD BioLabs’ expanding portfolio of products. Lead the team to synthesize, purify, and characterize modified nucleotides using HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, and NMR. Give and receive scientific and strategic feedback based on results within and across departments. Collaborate in a team environment.

Requirements

MS or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or closely related fields. Strong organic chemistry background. 5+ years of hands-on experience with fluorescent dye and nucleoside/nucleotide synthesis. Purification of nucleotides from small to large scale (reverse phase and ion exchange) is a plus. Strong analytical chemistry skills with modern spectroscopic and chromatographic methods (HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, and NMR). Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
