Position Summary
You will design and run experiments that move our science forward. You will work closely with colleagues across teams and with external partners to develop and validate laboratory methods. We value clear thinkers who are hands-on, collaborative, and curious. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Design, develop and execute laboratory experiments to support preclinical and early development studies.
- Develop, qualify and maintain analytical and biological assays and document methods and results.
- Analyse and interpret data, prepare clear written reports, and present results to project teams.
- Support assay troubleshooting, quality checks, and trending to ensure reliable and reproducible results.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver study milestones on schedule.
- Contribute to laboratory best practice, including good documentation, safety and sample handling.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Biomedical Sciences or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in controlled or sterile laboratory environments, including adherence to aseptic techniques, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and safety procedures.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment with hands-on experimental responsibility.
- Strong data handling and interpretation skills, with experience preparing written reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly in English.
- Able to work on-site in Belgium; this role is on-site with occasional hybrid flexibility as agreed with the line manager.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Master’s with several years’ experience or PhD in a relevant discipline.
- Practical experience in formulation development, including preparation, handling, and characterization of formulations.
- Experience with assay development, qualification or validation in a regulated environment.
- Experience with quality systems and good laboratory practices.
- Hands-on experience with advanced technologies such as particle sizing, or separation techniques.
- Experience coordinating work with external laboratories or contract research organisations.
- Fluent in French in addition to English.
