Job Description:

Plans and controls inventory of finished goods to meet sales and distribution demand. Analyses inventory levels, inventory positioning and production and sale forecasts. Oversees routing, scheduling, and storing of goods. Manages and improves inventory efficiency to ensure on time delivery and cost saving.

1. Job Scope

 

• Lead as main point of contact to the business for all systems related changes and maintenance.
• Owns testing and sign-off for change control.
• Performs requirement gathering/ training for any new process / changes introduced
• Support newly rolled out projects and tracks progress alongside with Business Leads
• Acts as the conduit between IT and Business Leads on system related matters
• Perform a relationship management role in supporting functional heads and the project management group.
• Support Supply Chain/Deliver projects where new process / system changes are required
• New Product Introduction End to End setup and testing

·       Project Managed new process / system changes

·       Conduct Business Improvement activities where opportunities arise

·       Help to specify and document required business process enhancements

·       Develop Test Plans for system enhancements

·       Perform User Acceptance Testing for system enhancement

·       Maintain documentation and change control on all system processes

·       Build and lead a team of functional leads and master data leads

·       Drive the performance of the team through KPI, regular reviews and internal continuous improvement.

2. Dimensions

• Support Supply Chain and Deliver operations across APAC with a possibility to expand support globally
• Work closely with IT on requirement and development of system changes
• Focus on our main system such as SAP, CRM.
• New system support will be progressively added to the scope of the team

• Geographic coverage includes initiatives from Global down to country level

                                                                         

3. Main Responsibilities

 

• Support end users in executing business processes
• Effectively liaise with the IT function to ensure day to day processes and projects are delivered

• Project Manage in test plan development, Testing for system enhancements & projects
• Ensure alignment of Education & Training material to actual Business Process task & activities

·       Daily monitoring SAP interfaces to external systems (WebMethods, eCommerce, EDI)

·       Support Business Improvement function in performing Business Process improvements

·       Management and resolution of system issues

• Support regional and global system changes.
• Set up a team, manage it, grow the team and function; and drive performance/quality from the team

• Report to the Deliver Excellence Associate Director who is located in Singapore
• No direct report initially but expected to grow the team to 5-8pax within 12 months

Essential skills

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain and Sales applications and principles.
• Very good business knowledge and SAP-skills in SD/MM module
• Understanding SAP to external systems communication (EDI)
• Knowledge of the end-to-end business processes that relate to your SAP ("big picture of enterprise structure")
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. The ability to explain complex system processes in an appropriate way for the intended audience.
• High level of accuracy & attention to detail in a fast moving high volume environment.
