This role requires deep expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite, API Management, and SAP Process Orchestration (PO) to enable seamless connectivity across SAP and non-SAP systems. </div><div>As a key member of the Enterprise Integration Architecture team, you will drive the migrations, from SAP ECC to S/4HANA and from PI/PO to SAP BTP, define integration architecture standards, and lead the adoption of modern, API-led, event-driven integration models. You will collaborate closely with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure integration solutions align with Amgen’s “Clean Core” ERP vision and overall digital transformation strategy. </div><div>Roles & Responsibilities: </div><div><ul><li>Integration Architecture Leadership: Define and enhance Amgen’s enterprise integration strategy, principles, and roadmap for on-premise and cloud ERP systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP CPI, and SAP Process Orchestration (PO). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Solution Design & Delivery: Architect and oversee the development, configuration, and deployment of complex SAP integration solutions, enabling smooth migration to SAP S/4HANA. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Solution Architects, business stakeholders, and external vendors to design high-performance, secure, and scalable integration frameworks. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Security & Compliance: Implement secure communication protocols (OAuth 2.0, PGP encryption, certificate-based authentication) and enforce API governance and compliance standards across all integration layers. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Monitoring & Performance Management: Define and implement monitoring and alerting frameworks for proactive performance management and troubleshooting of integration flows across SAP and non-SAP systems. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Governance & Standardization: Establish and enforce governance processes, coding standards, and documentation best practices to ensure consistent and reliable interface development. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Innovation & Modernization: Drive the adoption of SAP BTP capabilities, including API Management, Event Mesh, and Intelligent Automation, fostering a modular, future-ready integration landscape. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Clean Core Enablement: Champion API-led and event-driven architectures that minimize customization and support Amgen’s S/4HANA Clean Core ERP strategy. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of SAP technology advancements and guide teams in adopting new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to optimize integration efficiency. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Basic Qualifications and Experience </div><div><ul><li>Doctorate degree OR </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Master’s degree in computer science or STEM majors and 4 to 6 years of IT or related field experience OR </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM majors and 6 to 10 years of IT or related field experience OR </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Diploma in computer science or STEM majors and 10 to 12 years of IT or related field experience </li></ul></div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Technical Skills: </div><div>Must-Have Skills: </div><div><ul><li>Extensive hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh) and SAP Process Orchestration (PO). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong background in SAP S/4HANA integration, including integrations with Ariba, Concur, Fieldglass, and other third-party systems. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Deep understanding of API-led integration patterns, OData, RESTful, and SOAP web services. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proven ability to design and govern API Management frameworks ensuring scalability, version control, and security. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong command on integration security principles, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, PGP encryption, and TLS/SSL certificates. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Demonstrated expertise in monitoring tools, error handling, and performance tuning for complex integration landscapes. such as Event Mesh, Integration Advisor, and Workflow Management for intelligent process automation. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Exposure to SAP BTP- B2B for EDI integrations. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proficiency in Agile/DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Jira, and Azure DevOps for continuous delivery of integration solutions. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Understanding of event-driven architectures and microservices for scalable system interoperability. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Professional Certifications:
