Description

HORIBA Group is seeking an Elite Sales Performer for the West Coast Region, responsible for selling company solutions and products across various fields and markets including Semiconductor, Life Sciences, and Material Sciences. Duties include expanding business in existing accounts, securing business from new accounts, handling customer inquiries, conducting product demonstrations and presentations, developing customer interest, preparing quotations, achieving sales targets, attending local trade shows, and maintaining professional knowledge through educational workshops. The Territory Sales Engineer must stay current with trends and competitors and maintain a database using Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline (Masters or Ph.D. preferred), experienced in selling to Life Sciences, Materials Science and semiconductor markets, excellent communication and organizational skills, 50% travel required, prior sales experience of at least 5 years with sales training from a reputable program, technical experience with capital equipment and optical/spectroscopy, proficiency in MS Office, ability to present independently, strong prospecting skills, capable of driving a sale from initial contact to close, self-motivated and goal-oriented with fast learning ability.
