<p><strong>Haeger &amp; Carlsson Executive Search is recruiting a Sales Director, Nordics.</strong></p><p><span>A well‑established MedTech company is strengthening its commercial engine organisation in the Nordics and is appointing a Sales Director, Nordics to lead a multi‑country sales organisation and a unified tender capability. The role is accountable for growth and profitability across the region, building consistent Nordic ways‑of‑working, and elevating customer engagement in close collaboration with Product Management and Marketing.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>About the position</strong></span></p><p><span>In this position you will lead a team of leaders, set the commercial benchmark for execution excellence, and build a sustainable business that translates strategy into measurable results across the Nordic countries. You will have full Nordic P&amp;L responsibility, including pricing and terms within established frameworks, and you will work closely with internal functions as well as Nordic suppliers.</span></p><p></p><p><span><strong>Experiences and Qualifications<br>Must‑haves</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>During past five years, proven multi‑country commercial leadership in the Nordics, leading leaders</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong track record in MedTech/Life Science (or closely related) delivering growth and profitability</span></p></li><li><p><span> Deep understanding of Nordic public procurement/tenders and how to win sustainably</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrated P&amp;L ownership and pricing/contracting experience.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Change leadership —implementing new operating models, tools and ways‑of‑working across countries</span></p></li><li><p><span> Fluent in English and in one Scandinavian language</span></p></li></ul><p><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>Nice‑to‑have</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Experience working with complex, high-technology portfolios across multiple clinical areas</span></p></li><li><p><span>Exposure to strategic partnerships and multi‑country framework agreements</span></p></li><li><p><span>Background from leading MedTech companies is advantageous</span></p></li></ul><p><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Own the Nordic P&amp;L: deliver revenue, margin and cash flow targets, while actively shaping product mix and pricing.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead leaders across countries: hire, coach and performance-manage Sales Managers; ensure a high-impact field cadence (co-travelling, deal reviews, pipeline hygiene).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Tender Excellence: establish a harmonised Nordic tender framework (bid strategy, pricing, T&amp;Cs, risk management, win-loss learning) and ensure robust preparation and governance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Go-to-Market: align country plans, territories and key accounts; ensure each country operates with a clear plan (budget, KPIs, activities) and that performance is regularly reviewed.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Customer &amp; Partner engagement: build senior relationships with health systems, purchasing organisations and supplier/partner stakeholders at a Nordic level; lead multi-country discussions as appropriate.</span></p></li><li><p><span>People &amp; Organisation: shape the Nordic commercial organisation (capacity, capability, succession for critical roles); attract and onboard talent; set expectations and standards.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Operating rhythm &amp; tools: drive common Nordic operating mechanisms and data-driven decisions using CRM/BI; champion continuous improvement and process digitalisation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Change &amp; integration: lead commercial workstreams for portfolio/company integrations (price list harmonisation, contracts, territories, key account ownership).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Compliance &amp; ethics: ensure compliance with procurement, healthcare and company policies across markets.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>Location: </strong>Nordic Region (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland)</span></p><p><span><strong>Travel: </strong>Up to 1 week per month</span></p><p></p><p><strong>Personal Skillset</strong></p><p><span>Superior commercial and analytical skills.
