Description

Lifelines Neuro Company is looking for a talented Research Software Engineering Intern to develop custom software for quantitative EEG (qEEG) analyses in drug development for brain disorders. You will adapt, elaborate, and automate processing pipelines, working with electrical engineers and neuroscientists. Responsibilities include project specifications, building and maintaining R packages, creating high-quality tooling for data analysis, automating data reporting, collaborating on workflow improvements, and developing dataset curation tools. This is a remote, one month, full time contract project-based opportunity, with a fixed rate of $10,000.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in developing production-level software for research purposes. Solid knowledge in signal processing, statistics, and optimization. Demonstrated experience in crafting efficient, maintainable, and composable packages in R or other pervasive open source software. Comfort building cloud infrastructure tailored for substantial datasets. Excellent communication skills. Experience levels: Master's degree with 3-7 years, doctoral degree with 3-5 years, or equivalent experience.
