Research Associate Co-Op, In Vitro Pharmacology

We believe our product candidates have the potential to unlock the full therapeutic benefits of modulating the TGF-β superfamily and provide disease-modifying benefit to patients.</p></div><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated Biology/Biochemistry Major Co-op to join our In Vitro Pharmacology team for a 6-month Research Associate position. As a co-op student, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our experienced scientists and researchers, gaining valuable insights into the field of cell/molecular biology, and contributing to our ongoing drug discovery projects.</p> <p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain and culture multiple cell lines</li> <li>Participate in protocol development and optimization of cellular assays</li> <li>Conduct reporter assays to assess cellular signaling events</li> <li>Regularly perform gene expression, protein detection analysis</li> <li>Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records</li> <li>Collaborate with team members on research projects</li> </ul> <p><strong>Core Competencies (Required Skills)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous training in cell/molecular biology laboratory skills and familiarity with cell culture techniques</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills</li> <li>Effective communication and teamwork abilities</li> <li>Enthusiasm for scientific research and a desire to learn and contribute</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Current undergraduate student majoring in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field</li> <li>Strong academic background in biology and chemistry</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
