Description

Execute new designs for modified nucleotides and conjugation chemistry to improve YD BioLabs’ expanding portfolio of products. Synthesize, purify, and characterize modified nucleotides using HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, and NMR. Give and receive scientific and strategic feedback based on results within and across departments. Collaborate in a team environment.

Requirements

B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or closely related disciplines. Strong organic chemistry background or experience. 1+ year of hands-on experience with organic synthesis. Experience with small to large scale purification (reverse phase and ion exchange) of synthetic chemicals is a plus. Strong analytical chemistry skills with modern spectroscopic and chromatographic methods (HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, and/or NMR). Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
