<p style="text-align:left"><b>Work Schedule</b></p>Standard (Mon-Fri)<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Environmental Conditions</b></p>Office<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b><u>Job Description</u></b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>Supports the study conduction process for Phase I clinical studies. Collects study-specific data by performing technical and non-technical procedures. Troubleshoots and resolves common procedural issues.</p><p></p><p></p><h2>Day to day responsibilities:</h2><h2></h2><ul><li><p>Performs technical procedures including Automated Vital Signs, </p></li><li><p>Electrocardiogram, blood collections, etc.</p></li><li><p>Performs non-technical procedures including urine collections, subject walks and safety monitoring.</p></li><li><p>Performs advanced technical procedures including platelet aggregation, holter </p></li><li><p>monitoring, difficult blood collections and advanced phlebotomy techniques.</p></li><li><p>Interacts regularly with study subjects in all in-house and outpatient studies in order to perform study related procedures.</p></li><li><p>Mentors and assists team members.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2><h2></h2><h2>Education and Experience: </h2><h2></h2><ul><li><p>Czech Language is essential (minimum A2 level)</p></li><li><p>High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification</p></li><li><p>Technical positions may require a certificate</p></li><li><p>Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 1 year).</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2>In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. </h2><h2></h2><h2><br />Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: </h2><ul><li><p>General knowledge of the clinical research process</p></li><li><p>General knowledge of Phase I clinic operations</p></li><li><p>Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office</p></li><li><p>Good written and verbal communication skills</p></li><li><p>Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills</p></li><li><p>Attention to detail and organizational capabilities</p></li><li><p>Effective time-management and multi-tasking skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment</p></li></ul><h2><br /><br />Working Conditions and Environment: </h2><p></p><ul><li><p>Work is performed in an office or clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. </p></li><li><p>Frequently works long hours and varying shifts</p></li><li><p>Frequently works weekends and/or holidays</p></li><li><p>Frequently works at a fast pace under varying time constraints</p></li><li><p>Frequently requires working on multiple priorities simultaneously</p></li><li><p>Frequent exposure to bio-hazardous material, infectious diseases and/or illnesses</p></li><li><p>Personal protective equipment may be required such as protective eyewear, garments and gloves.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2><br />Physical Requirements:</h2><h2></h2><ul><li><p>Occasionally stationary for 1 - 2 hours per day. </p></li><li><p>Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. </p></li><li><p>Frequent mobility required. </p></li><li><p>Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck. </p></li><li><p>Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs. </p></li><li><p>Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.</p></li><li><p>Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with he ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. </p></li><li><p>May interact with others, relating and gathering sensitive information. Interaction includes diverse groups.</p></li><li><p>Works with guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions from management.
