The Repair Operations Support Specialist will support the Material Productivity team by driving productivity improvements across external repair operations, on assigned part portfolio. The role focuses on reducing repair costs and improving repair output by addressing key operational and commercial levers such as pricing strategies, contractual terms, lead times, and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ).This position will work in close collaboration with the Sourcing organization, as well as service, operations, and planning teams, to ensure repair strategies balance cost efficiency, supply continuity, and operational performance.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
All activities related to the supervision, organization and execution of a service project, including scope, time, contract (if not covered by a dedicated Contract Manager) cost & quality management. Responsibility for project methodologies and standards including scheduling and control , to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Support initiatives to reduce external repair costs by analyzing current repair pricing structures and cost drivers.
Identify productivity opportunities that improve both repair cost and repair output, including volume leverage, lead‑time reduction, and MOQ optimization.
Analyze repair spend, volumes, and operational constraints to highlight actionable improvement opportunities.
Review existing repair pricing strategies, rate cards, and commercial models to identify improvement opportunities.
Perform should‑cost analyses for targeted repair parts and services, including labor, material, overhead, and margin assumptions.
Provide fact‑based cost insights to support alignment between repair operations and sourcing teams.
Collaborate closely with the sourcing organization to support supplier discussions and negotiations related to repair pricing, lead times, MOQ, and capacity.
Contribute operational and cost analyses to supplier negotiations and contract discussions.
Support the evaluation and improvement of contractual terms impacting repair cost, turnaround time, and flexibility.
Identify operational constraints affecting repair output, including lead times, MOQ requirements, batching effects, and capacity limitations.
Support actions to improve repair turnaround times and supply responsiveness while maintaining cost discipline.
Work with planning, service, and operations teams to ensure repair strategies align with demand and service needs.
Support material productivity tracking by documenting opportunities, assumptions, and expected savings or output improvements.
Prepare clear analyses and summaries for cross‑functional stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to repair operations, governance, and ways of working.
Required Qualifications:
This role requires basic experience in the Services & Services Project Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Experience in repair operations, supply chain, procurement, or service support, preferably in aftermarket or service environments.
Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills, financial acumen
Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing pricing, costs, and operational performance drivers.
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills across cultures
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Desired Characteristics:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Experience in productivity, cost‑out, or continuous improvement initiatives
