We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.</p><p></p><p><b>ROLE DESCRIPTION</b></p><ul><li>Drive the overall capability development for APAC commercial team by enabling a proactive development / learning culture.</li><li>Implement the APAC learning strategy in alignment with commercial strategies, including developing regional training roadmaps in alignment with the regional commercial strategy and evolving market requirements.</li><li>Implement a learning evaluation framework and supporting practices that link development to performance by using data and analytics to gain insights about capabilities, emerging development requirements, and measure learning effectiveness.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li><b>Learning Strategy &amp; Needs Assessment: </b><ul><li>Collaborate with Commercial Excellence to develop and implement the regional commercial learning strategy.</li><li>Conduct learning needs assessments using performance and development data to identify competency gaps.</li><li>Apply learning design principles and development frameworks (e.g., 70-20-10 model) to create impactful programs.</li></ul></li><li><b>Curriculum Development &amp; Delivery: </b><ul><li>Identify regional commercial competency requirements and enable delivery of learning curriculums and programs in partnership with Commercial Excellence and cross-functional leads.</li><li>Design custom programs using fit-for-purpose learning methods for proactive and just-in-time training.</li><li>Conduct training sessions and lead train-the-trainer programs to build internal capabilities across markets.</li><li>Develop training materials and resources to support learning delivery and application, including to support on-the-jog learning and application.</li><li>Facilitate learning transfer, and build coaching competencies across the commercial team</li></ul></li><li><b>Performance Gap Analysis &amp; Solutions: </b><ul><li>Work with Salesforce Effectiveness (SFE) and country trainers to analyze performance gaps and develop training and non-training solutions to build priority skills.</li></ul></li><li><b>Learning Thought-Leadership &amp; Consultative Expertise:</b><ul><li>Provide guidance to employees and people leaders on learning and development strategies.</li><li>Build and implement tools and resources to support on-the-job learning, coaching, and application.</li></ul></li><li><b>Evaluation &amp; Impact Measurement:</b><ul><li>Implement a learning evaluation framework to measure effectiveness and business impact.</li><li>Track and report learning outcomes via a regional dashboard, providing real-time insights into strengths &amp; gaps.</li></ul></li><li><b>Innovation &amp; Continuous Improvement:</b><ul><li>Expand learning offerings with innovative methods and platforms.</li><li>Use established evaluation criteria to select and assess learning partners, ensuring accountability and quality.</li></ul></li><li><b>Digital Learning Platform Leadership:</b><ul><li>Work closely with Global and Regional teams to leverage the Allego training platform and serve as the master user for APAC, ensuring optimal utilization and adoption across markets.</li><li>Be the master of product knowledge</li></ul></li><li><b>Product Knowledge Mastery:</b><ul><li>Serve as the regional product knowledge expert, covering hardware, software, and digital systems, ensuring all training programs incorporate accurate, up-to-date product information and enabling teams to confidently communicate value propositions.</li></ul></li></ul><p><b>CRITICAL EXPERIENCES TO BE READY FOR THIS ROLE</b></p><ul><li>Design and implementation of a training program that considered immediate and long-term development needs (includes needs assessment, curriculum design, delivery, evaluation).</li><li>Working with cross-functional partners to create, deliver, or adapt a learning intervention (includes engaging stakeholders, gathering feedback, and ensuring alignment with broader business goals).</li><li>Implement / support the use of new learning technologies or platforms to enhance the effectiveness of training programs (includes evaluating different options, integrating them into existing training frameworks / offerings, measuring their impact on learner engagement and performance).</li><li>Consulting with leaders at different levels to address / support development needs (e.g., advising on leadership development programs, coaching, and mentoring initiatives.</li><li>Experience influencing without authority to ensure the appropriate interventions are developed in alignment with strategic goals.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>REQUIREMENTS</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree &amp; above.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years relevant commercial training experience, learning &amp; development, or sales enablement preferably in Healthcare (Medical Devices/Pharmaceutical industry).</li><li>Professional certification in Training &amp; Development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is an advantage.</li><li>Familiarity with clinical education, product training, and regulatory requirements in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry.</li><li>Previous experience in sales management is a plus. Strong coaching and training skills, preferably with project management skills in rolling out regional initiatives.</li><li>Proven track record in curriculum design, delivering training programs for diverse, multi-country commercial teams and knowledge of adult learning principles.</li><li>Ability to analyze training needs and measure effectiveness using KPIs.</li><li>Hands-on experience in leveraging technology and learning management systems (LMS) such as Allego etc.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, lead, negotiate, and work effectively at all levels. Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders such as commercial and medical affairs.</li><li>Strong language proficiency in English.
