Help in developing strategy for localization for various product lines in India working closely with various stakeholders in business
Supplier transfer identification and support: Work with business leaders to develop and support transfer activities, achieving business localization objectives, reduce risk and maximize savings. Collaborate with a cross-functional team and suppliers, including operations, engineering, supplier quality, and central sourcing colleagues to drive part transfer activities compliant with regulatory requirements.
Ability to facilitate and build governance around several business requirements on localization like Program managing localization, setting and tracking key actions
Should have hands-on experience working on commodities like metal, cable, plastics, electro-mechanical and electronic parts
Productivity/Cost Reduction: Maximize business objectives by seeking cost-saving opportunities and total landed cost analysis. Participate in disruptive cost workouts, strategic planning, supplier collaboration/development and business development.
Supplier Risk Reduction: Analyze and assess supply chain risk in collaboration with cross-functional team.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
Approximately 12+ years of experience in Sourcing and/or Supplier Management
Strategic Sourcing experience of at least 10 years, with hands‑on exposure to sourcing:
Machined parts
Fabricated components
Plastic parts
Electronic components
Proven capability in driving localization initiatives and developing local supplier ecosystems
Program or Project Management experience ranging from 2 to 3 years, with cross‑functional coordination
Strong data analytics skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Power BI
Excellent soft skills, particularly influencing, stakeholder management, and effective communication
Experience in the Medical Equipment / Medical Devices industry will be considered an added advantage
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
