The Regional Sales Manager is essential in driving sales success across Eastern Canada. This role focuses on achieving sales targets while fostering a collaborative team culture. You will lead Territory Managers and Clinical Sales Specialists to build strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector, including private practices and diabetes clinics.
By enhancing brand loyalty and training your team on product knowledge, you will ensure they are well-equipped to engage healthcare professionals effectively. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets and market share within the assigned region.
Healthcare Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of the local healthcare system, reimbursement processes, and key account management.
Relationship Management: Build and sustain relationships with key diabetes decision-makers and influencers in the region.
Product Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in the Omnipod® System and related diabetes products, including competitive analysis. Train and lead the team on product knowledge and technology.
Training & Development: Coach Territory Managers and Clinical Sales Specialists on executing commercial strategies for the Omnipod® System and ensure compliance with credentialing and training requirements.
Field Sales Execution: Ensure the team conducts field sales activities professionally and in line with the Marketing strategy.
Talent Management: Hire, develop, and retain top sales and clinical talent.
Budget Management: Oversee budget utilization for commercial and training resources.
Collaboration: Work effectively with commercial and corporate teams to achieve shared goals.
Administrative Duties: Complete all administrative tasks promptly and within budget.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Sales Leadership & Experience: Proven track record of success in driving sales teams (5 year minimum) within the medical device or healthcare industry, including experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams. Demonstrated ability to deliver results and execute strategic initiatives. Strong preference for experience in diabetes products.
Industry Knowledge: Established relationships with healthcare professionals, particularly endocrinologists, and a strong understanding of the diabetes care landscape, including market dynamics, patient pathways, and competitive environment
Training and Development: Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, and developing sales teams on product knowledge, competitive positioning, and effective selling strategies to maximize performance and customer impact.
Language Skills: Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written), with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders across diverse regions.
Preferred Education and Qualifications:
Educational Background: Masters in Business Administration
Sales and Industry Experience: Sales Experience with Diabetes Products and/or technology

Physical Requirements
Valid driver’s license required. Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned region. Position will require frequent travel by air and automobile within assigned region. Regular overnight travel may be required.
Work environment includes clinics, practices, and a home office.
A company car allowance will be provided
