RCM Cust Svc Support Rep-10am-7pm EST Remote (Patient Customer Service)

Labcorp is seeking a Customer Service Support Rep - Patient Customer Service within the Revenue Cycle Management Division to join our team.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm EST

Training hours: 9am to 6pm EST

Responsibilities

• Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's office or private insurance carriers.

• Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances.

• Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone

• Maintain performance goals

• Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent  

• 1 year or more customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more high volume call center experience

• 1 year or more medical billing, insurance claims, and explanation of benefits

• 1 year or more patient billing

Pay Range: $17.75-$21.00

This position will work with external customers and internal personnel to respond to customer inquiries. The Customer Service Support Representative will provide product training and handle a wide variety of questions while ensuring a world-class customer experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Customer Service and motivated to work with a customer-centric team in an innovative company.
