Lead and coordinate raw material testing, qualification, and release activities to support manufacturing schedules and ensure timely delivery.
Ensure all laboratory activities are performed in compliance with GMP, GLP, pharmacopoeial requirements, and company quality standards.
Drive investigations, deviations, audit actions, supplier complaints, and quality events to successful and timely resolution.
Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Warehouse, Validation, and global stakeholders to resolve material-related issues and support business continuity.
Monitor laboratory performance through KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and champion Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as deputy to the QC Group Leader, providing technical guidance, supporting team development, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence while supporting training, recruitment, and succession planning activities.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
Experience working in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or similar quality-focused environment.
Strong understanding of laboratory operations, analytical testing, quality systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience supporting investigations, deviations, CAPAs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
Knowledge of SAP, TrackWise, or similar quality and business systems would be advantageous.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
