You will play a critical role in ensuring product conformity, maintaining audit readiness, and supporting customer requirements in a low-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment.</p><p></p><p>Location: Alexandria, MN<br />Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM<br />Targeted Compensation Range: $65,000 - $70,000/yr depending on experience</p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p><p></p><p></p><h2><b>Metrology & CMM Leadership</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Develop and maintain CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programs using engineering drawings, CAD models, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)</h2></li><li><h2>Optimize inspection routines for accuracy and production throughput</h2></li><li><h2>Support Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and validation activities</h2></li><li><h2>Support First Article Inspections (FAI) and Production Park Approval Process (PPAP) requirements</h2></li></ul><h2><b>Calibration & Measurement Systems</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Own site-wide calibration system to ensure audit readiness</h2></li><li><h2>Maintain traceable calibration records aligned with ISO 9001 and customer requirements</h2></li><li><h2>Coordinate external calibration providers and troubleshoot inspection equipment</h2></li></ul><h2><b>Team Leadership</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Provide day-to-day leadership and coaching to Quality Inspectors</h2></li><li><h2>Train team on measurement techniques, blueprint reading, and standardized work</h2></li><li><h2>Support inspections during peak demand or complex dimensional reviews</h2></li></ul><h2><b>Quality Decision-Making & Improvement</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Evaluate and disposition nonconforming material (Material Review Board participation)</h2></li><li><h2>Support root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, CAPA)</h2></li><li><h2>Partner with Production, Engineering, and Sales to resolve quality issues and improve process capability</h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2><b>What We’re Looking For</b></h2><ul><li><h2>5+ years of manufacturing quality experience (machining or fabrication preferred)</h2></li><li><h2>Hands-on Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming experience (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar)</h2></li><li><h2>Strong understanding of:</h2><ul><li><h2>Blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)</h2></li><li><h2>Quality systems, audits, and compliance</h2></li><li><h2>Statistical Process Control (SPC), Corrective and Prevention Action (CAPA), Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), and control plans</h2></li></ul></li><li><h2>Experience leading or mentoring quality inspectors preferred</h2></li><li><h2>Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills</h2></li></ul><ul><li><h2>Associate’s degree in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred</h2></li><li><h2>Equivalent hands-on experience strongly considered</h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2><b>Why You’ll Love Working Here</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Day-One Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance</h2></li><li><h2>Time Off: Paid vacation, sick time, and 10 paid holidays</h2></li><li><h2>Financial Wellness: 401(k) with company match</h2></li><li><h2>Family Support: Paid parental leave</h2></li><li><h2>Tuition reimbursement and employee discounts</h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2></h2><p></p><h2><b>Ready to Join a Winning Team?</b></h2><h2>Apply Now and become part of a company that values your skills, supports your growth, and celebrates your success.
