Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Quality Engineering Intern located in our Milpitas, CA site.
Reporting to the Business Compliance, Sr. Manager, the Intern will assist the Quality Team with projects impacting yields, performance and supporting Quality Systems, Suppliers, Auditing, Manufacturing, Mass Production and NPI.
What a typical day looks like:
- Involvement with different Quality areas (Supplier Quality, Material Review Board (MRB), Quality Systems, Manufacturing Quality Engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction)
- Analyze data and process flow procedures
- Research and create various reports and procedures as needed
- Collaborate with Engineering Teams to address Quality issues related to suppliers and products, auditing results and overall improvement of KPI’s
- Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:
- Senior level student currently pursuing BS degree in Industrial Engineering or related major
- Risk Analysis and Statistics coursework required
- Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
- Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication and leadership skills (will be speaking with suppliers and interacting with cross-functional teams)
- Native-level English proficiency required (written and verbal)
- Previous Quality related internship experience a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:
- Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 minimum GPA
