Essential functions include tissue culture testing, microbiological<span> </span></span><span>analysis</span><span><span> </span>and analytical chemistry. Key tasks for this role include:</span></span><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Raw Material Sampling and testing</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Water sampling and testing</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Identification by FTIR</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Basic wet chemistry techniques,<span> </span></span><span>karl</span><span><span> </span>fisher analysis,<span> </span></span><span>and<span> </span></span><span>HPLC.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>C</span><span><span>alibration and maintenance of equipment</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>May be<span> </span></span><span>required</span><span><span> </span>to perform other related duties as<span> </span></span><span>required</span><span><span> </span>and/or assigned.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Provide support to<span> </span></span><span>initiate</span><span><span> </span>and implement validation processes, technical<span> </span></span><span>investigations</span><span><span> </span>and improvement initiatives.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Contribute to the preparation of written reports as and when<span> </span>required</span><span>.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Maintain thorough and complete product test records<span> </span></span><span>per in</span><span><span> </span>house testing procedures and<span> </span></span><span>in accordance with</span><span><span> </span>ISO 13485 standards.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Participate in personal development opportunities to further enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the position.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><p></p></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><p><u><span>Education:</span></u><span> </span></p></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Requires a bachelor’s degree within a Chemistry, Microbiology or Biology discipline.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p></div></div><div><p><u><span>Experience: </span></u><span> </span></p></div><div><p></p><ul><li><p><span>Previous experience in QC testing within biotechnology environment or a similar manufacturing environment </span><span>would be a strong advantage</span></p></li><li><p>Preferably prior experience in a GMP or laboratory setting</p></li><li><p>Preferably experience in <b>raw material and/or water testing, identification by FTIR or experience in wet chemistry techniques, Karl Fischer analysis, HPLC, UPLC.</b></p></li><li><p>Good aseptic techniques required</p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to excellence</p></li><li><p>Ability to troubleshoot lab based queries and prioritise workload</p></li><li><p>Able to work independently as well as work within a diverse team</p></li><li><p>Familiar with MS Office products</p></li><li><p>Excellent oral and written communication skills</p></li></ul><p></p></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><p><u>Other requirements:</u></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment and to effectively interact with all levels of the company. </span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external development team members are essential.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><p><u><span>Contacts:</span></u></p></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Will liaise extensively with all other<span> </span></span><span>department<span> </span>within the operational department.
