Review product batch records to dispositionintermediates, and/or finished goods. Administer company policies that directly affect QCpersonnel. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; resource planning,assigning and directing work; appraising performance and disciplining employees.What will you do?<ul><li> Lead and coordinate the activities of the QC team and directly provide guidance to the QC</li></ul>Scientists / Engineers to achieve site goals, and to complete assignments and projects, as well asadhere to production schedules.<ul><li>Conduct routine analysis of samples according to approved procedures.</li><li>Segregate, label and dispose of waste chemicals in accordance with company, local, state</li></ul>and federal regulations and assist in reducing waste.<ul><li>Review documentation in order to support compliance and quality requirements.</li><li>Assist in continuously updating standard operating procedures.</li><li>Perform and support investigations for out of specification failures, nonconformance</li></ul>reports, and CAPAs.<ul><li> Provide for the continual development and training of QC Scientists / Engineers.</li></ul><ul><li>Support continuous improvement activities. (Knowledge and experience of Lean Six Sigma</li></ul>Process is a plus.)<ul><li>Perform other duties to support the needs of the department as assigned by the QC</li></ul>Manager.How will you get here?Education<ul><li>Minimum BS/BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related subject is required.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Direct supervisory experience strongly preferred.</li><li>5 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience with undergraduate degree; or 3</li></ul>years’ experience with an advanced degree or equivalent work experience.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities<ul><li>Strong organizational skills to be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and the</li></ul>ability to appropriately prioritize tasks.<ul><li>Ability to follow written and verbal directions with a high level of accuracy.</li></ul><ul><li>Must be able to write clear, understandable documentation.</li><li>High level of verbal communication skills, and functional leadership skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong word processing and spreadsheet software skills.</li></ul><ul><li>High level of reading comprehension skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong command of Quality System Regulations and ISO.</li></ul><ul><li>Skilled at analyzing data, summarizing results, and generating performance metrics to drive</li></ul>corrective actions.<ul><li>Strong math skills including calculation of concentrations and dilutions.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong troubleshooting skills.</li></ul>Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
