Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.</p><p>Whether our customers are advancing life sciences research, solving complex analytical challenges, improving laboratory efficiency, enhancing patient health through diagnostics, or developing and manufacturing life-changing therapies, we are committed to supporting them.</p><p>Our global team delivers an exceptional combination of innovative technologies, purchasing convenience, and pharmaceutical services through industry-leading brands such as Thermo Scientific, Applied Biosystems, Invitrogen, Fisher Scientific, Unity Lab Services, Patheon, and PPD.</p><div></div><h1><b>Role &amp; Responsibilities</b></h1><ul><li>Lead the design, development, and qualification of laboratory products manufactured across global sites, while driving cost optimization and design standardization initiatives</li><li>Manage and deliver complex projects in a program management capacity as part of a cross-functional team</li><li>Apply strong design expertise with a solid understanding of global qualification standards and regulatory requirements</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at or below target cost through robust engineering planning, including quality, cost, schedule, and risk management</li><li>Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders</li><li>Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to drive effective and sustainable solutions</li><li>Build and strengthen technical knowledge and proficiency across product lines</li><li>Foster a culture of continuous learning by coordinating technical training, addressing capability gaps, and supporting the development of a strong technical pipeline</li><li>Collaborate effectively with sourcing, operations, quality, service, and global R&amp;D teams, as well as external suppliers and partners</li><li>Perform cost-benefit analyses and validate annualized savings for assigned projects</li><li>Lead Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities while maintaining product quality and performance</li><li>Partner with Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure compliance and secure required product approvals</li><li>Demonstrate a strong track record of delivering measurable business impact.</li></ul><h1><b>Skills &amp; Proficiencies</b></h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5-8&#43; years of relevant experience, including product cost optimization and VAVE project execution</li><li>Proven experience leading end-to-end complex projects, with a minimum of 5 full lifecycle project executions in a project leader role</li><li>Strong expertise in stage-gate or technical review processes</li><li>Good understanding of regulatory requirements, certifications, and global engineering standards</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities</li><li>High attention to detail, accountability, and ownership mindset</li><li>Ability to think creatively and drive innovative solutions</li><li>Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams</li></ul><div></div><h1><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></h1><ul><li>VAVE and/or PMP certification</li><li>Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) and CAD tools such as UG/NX, along with working knowledge of simulation tools like Ansys</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
