Production Team Lead

Job Summary

Position Overview:  

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Manufacturing/Production Operators of manufacturing equipment (about 30 operators) to produce our signature product. This individual will be responsible for various production activities such as training new workers and verifying the operator’s performance to maintain high productivity in high quality standard. The production involves heat staking, laser welding, mechanical swaging, printed circuit board (PCB) handling, etcetera. In addition to production operation, this position also needs to lead the production operators to support the production floor preventative maintenance activity such as machine cleaning and cleanroom cleaning. Most importantly, the successful candidate will be accountable to the performance of their section and team members. This position requires strong communication skills with the production operators and engineering technicians for arrangement of the daily production activity and preventive activities.

Position Overview:

The Production Administrator will conduct the production performance report involving data collection from SAP/MES system and production manual record. The Production Administrator shall work with the production planner, production manager and different team members to generate and deliver the report in different formats such as Excel / PowerPoint / Email / etc. The reports shall be readable, accurate, simplified, and timely for the operation team to keep track of the production performance.

Responsibilities:

· Work together with Production Manager, Production Planner and different team members to generate and distribute the report to the operation team to keep track of the production performance.

· Apply the SAP/MES, Excel, PowerPoint and appropriate software to consolidate the data for report writing.

· Willing to learn and work with the operation team to modify the reporting format according to the production need.

· Timely and accurately distributing the report in accordance with the production need.

· Having diligent and careful personality is necessary to handle the repeated work

· Having strong Excel knowledge definitely is advantage

· Basic understanding of the manufacturing operation is beneficial to the communication with the teammate to define the appropriate report format.

· Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

· Minimum Diploma Holder in any related field of study.

· 2-5 years of experience in data collection and reporting

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

· Proficient in MS Office – emphasis on Excel

· Experience with SAP Software preferred.

· Cooperative, team player and positive attitude a must

· Clear verbal and written communication skills

· Multi-language fluency preferred (English, Malay)
