As a Production Support Engineer, you’ll perform and document preventive, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance to keep operations safe and efficient, while partnering with teams to solve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.<p style="text-align:inherit"><br /> </p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Job Description</b></p><div><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p></div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><ul><li><p>Execute maintenance activities in GMP and non-GMP areas, coordinating with vendors as needed</p></li><li><p>Perform<span> </span>corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting and first-line failure remediation</p></li><li><p>Carry out<span> </span>preventive maintenance<span> </span>and support planning/preparation for scheduled shutdowns</p></li><li><p>Complete<span> </span>inspection maintenance<span> </span>by executing defined protocols</p></li><li><p>Perform<span> </span>calibration<span> </span>activities to schedule, with accurate documentation</p></li><li><p>Partner with Manufacturing and Quality to align priorities and resolve technical issues effectively</p></li><li><p>Manage and administer production-equipment spare parts in alignment with the Maintenance/Reliability Engineer</p></li><li><p>Drive continuous improvement and support validation by contributing to equipment/process updates, preparing interventions, maintaining technical documentation, and training operators as required</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Essential Requirements</b></p><ul><li><p>MBO/HBO degree with 4-6 working experience and with proven track record within maintenance and facility engineering.</p></li><li><p>Preferably 3&#43; years of working experience within (pharmaceutical) GMP and/or isotope manufacturing.</p></li><li><p>Fluent in English.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance in a production environment.</p></li><li><p>Ability to interpret technical documentation and calibration protocols.</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in documentation and adherence to safety standards.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why Novartis: </b>Helping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.
