If you are excited about a role but don&#39;t meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a <i><b>Production Planning Manager</b></i> located in <i><b>Prai, Penang</b></i>.</p><p></p><p>Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.</p><p></p><p><b>What a typical day looks like:</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop and manage production forecast based on master plan,  timelines,  material needs in order to define production requirements based on plant capacity,  which are aligned with company goals.</p></li><li><p>Adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes in demand,  communicating updates to all relevant parties and ensure material supplies able to meet the changes</p></li><li><p>Produces revenue investigation and annual operating (AOP) plan and other forecast reports.</p></li><li><p>Conducts special studies, investigations relating to the introduction of new products or processes to effect cost reduction and gives in improvements.</p></li><li><p>Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management</p></li><li><p>Liaise with operation team to resolved daily production line disruption and productivity issues.</p></li><li><p>In charge of the development and implementation of the company’s production control functions including Master Scheduling, Production Planning/Coordination, Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching.</p></li><li><p>Develops material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventory positions for customer programs.
