Including Enterprise Resource Planning, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems, programming, Value Stream mapping and Business Process mapping.</span></p><p></p><p></p><p><b><span>Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:</span></b></p><p></p><ul><li><span>Evaluating resource availability (materials, employees, equipment) and confirming orders.</span></li><li><span>Creating production plans, entering data into the integrated system, and notifying the purchasing group.</span></li><li><span>Overseeing plan implementation, addressing deviations, and preparing long-term forecasts (MPS, Forecast).</span></li><li><span>Ensuring system accuracy for item data, routing, BOM, and demand.</span></li><li><span>Generating Clean to Build reports, checking material availability, and monitoring stock levels and KPIs.</span></li><li><span>Assisting SCM and Order Desk, advising on customer request priorities, and managing high-visibility customer programs.</span></li><li><span>Driving enhancements in Order Management and addressing performance issues related to shipping dates and inventory.</span></li><li><span>Working with the Master Scheduler on product life cycles and rescheduling production due to changes or shortages.</span></li><li><span>Serving on Customer Focus Teams and supporting inventory control and supply chain management.</span></li><li><span>Might, on occasion, be required to tend to onsite emergency customer-related situations during non-business hours. </span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Here is what you’ll need to qualify:</span></b></p><p></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor's degree – OR - equivalent Manufacturing planning / scheduling work experience</span></li><li><span>5 years of experience as a Production Planner / Production Scheduler or similar roles</span></li><li><span>Flexibility to come onsite in case of customer-related emergencies during non-business hours. </span></li><li><span>Excel Microsoft and Excel (formulas, v-lookups, pivot tables),PowerPoint presentations.</span></li><li><span>Experience with Data Analytics tools/ Kinaxis preferred</span></li><li><span>Production Planning/scheduling, and DOF (Direct Order Fulfillment)</span></li><li><span>Customer communication and meetings</span></li><li><span>Learn new tools/software quickly and work/multi-task under pressure</span></li><li><span>Work on a variety of problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis and evaluation of various outcomes require tradeoffs and negotiation.</span></li><li><span>Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Here are a few of our preferred/optional experiences:</span></b></p><p></p><ul><li><span>Knowledge of Manufacturing Scheduling Management principles and practices, e.g.:</span><span> Demand forecasting / Capacity planning / Inventory management / Collaboration and communication / </span><span>Performance Monitoring and Reporting / </span><span>Problem Solving and Adaptability</span></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>SD20</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>What you'll receive for the great work you provide:</b></p><ul><li>Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Short-term and Long-term Disability</li><li>Matching 401(k) Contributions</li><li>Vacation and Paid Sick Time</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Global Procurement & Supply Chain<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Is Sponsorship Available?</p>No<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
